New British Kids Of Horror Literature

This Is Horror is the newest horror literature group solidifying their place in the genre. The British company sent out this press release on some of their new exciting stuff. If you haven’t heard of them and you love horror literature then check them out. They are a great addition indeed. I have found out about plenty of authors thanks to them over the past several months.

From the Press Release:
The This Is Horror Premium Chapbooks are released every quarter from the UK’s horror website This is Horror. The first year will see releases during summer 2012, autumn 2012, winter 2012, and spring 2013.
The first chapbook, David Moody’s Joe & Me, is currently available to pre-order from the This Is Horror online store in an exclusive Signature Edition limited to 500 copies. Once they’re gone, they’re gone – but you can also find details there on becoming a Premium Subscriber, ensuring that you receive both physical and digital editions of each chapbook as they’re released, amongst other benefits!
About Joe & Me:
“This is compulsive reading, a story you can’t put down unless someone hacks both your arms off!”
JASPER BARK, AWARD WINNING AUTHOR

“Satisfyingly morose. Takes a lo-fi route to an unavoidable apocalypse.”
STARBURST MAGAZINE

Joe is anything but an ordinary eight-year-old. His father’s a stay-at-home Dad, and his mom’s going to save the world.
Forced to live in cramped quarters after the military pull funding on his mother’s research, Joe is thrown into the midst of a race against the clock to save mankind. As tensions rise and the family disintegrates, they must face an uncomfortable ultimatum.
Do they save each other or humanity?
