Rob Zombie's "Tyrranosaurus Rex"
Rob Zombie has alot of upcoming projects that don't seem to be moving all that quickly including Tyrannosaurus Rex and a remake of The Blob to name two.
"It’s sort of like a cross between that Dustin Hoffman movie ‘Straight Time’ mixed with ‘Raging Bull’… sort of,” said Zombie. “I want to make a serious movie about this washed-up prizefighter who’s got this self-destructive tendency, and he comes out of prison and the only way he knows how to survive is by fighting.
He continued, “But his boxing career is over so he gets caught up in this sort of underground fight ring. But it’s all set in the ’70s, so it’s not like an ‘Ultimate Fighting’ type thing. It’s more like just nasty. It’s like if ‘Every Which Way But Loose’ was a serious movie. How about that? Minus the orangutan. [laughs]”

'The Gates' Preview Plus Nick's Notes and Mia's Blog
Entry #102
Discovered the old police chief of The Gates in his car down by Green River in Franklin County. Murdered. A 9mm round point blank to the back of the head. A professional job.
Seems Chief Phelps might have been a dirty cop, extorting the residents of The Gates for money in exchange for making their records go away. Looks like someone took offense.
Phelps didn't keep officers around long. Marcus is senior at less than a year. Something to keep in mind – can't rely on my officers' experience. They don't have any. Last officer to have some was a guy by the name of Chad Taylor. Having Marcus track his address down now. (Read the rest of Nick's Notes at ABC dot com)
