Adam Scott Will Come To Your House If You Didn’t Like Piranha 3D

Seriously. If you feel ripped off I will come to your house and act out my scenes for you and your friends. U provide shotgun and fish. Vanity Fair was intrigued by Scott’s offer, and took it upon themselves to call him and confirm the details of his proposal.
I really don’t think it will be necessary, since I can’t imagine one not being satisfied with Piranha 3-D, but just in case, yes of course I will be there. Few things: Will need the aforementioned firearm and fish. Will also need local Elisabeth Shue look-alike to run dialogue with, a plaid shirt, two high-fives (one before we run the scenes, one after), peanut M&M’s, a map with the closest Red Roof Inn circled on it (I won’t be staying there, I just like knowing where it is. I’ll be staying with you), a 700-word essay on why you neglected to recognize that Piranha 3-D totally fucking shreds, Perrier, a quick guitar lesson, one grenade, dinner with your family, and directions to the airport.

Horror/comedy "BRAIN DEAD" will hit DVD on October 5

Kevin Tenney’s undead horror/comedy BRAIN DEAD will hit DVD on October 5 from Breaking Glass Pictures (retail $24.99). Featuring gruesome FX by BAD BIOLOGY’s Gabe Bartalos, BRAIN DEAD will be released under Breaking Glass Pictures’ Vicious Circle Films label.

The official BRAIN DEAD synopsis goes:
“What do a pair of escaped convicts, a preacher and his assistant and a pair of pretty hikers have in common? They’re all delicious. After an extraterrestrial parasite crashlands in a backwoods American town—landing squarely on the head of a local fisherman—it sparks a fast spreading zombie infestation. As the brain hungry monsters multiply, three pairs of unlucky misfits convene on a fishing lodge for shelter. With zombies pounding at the door, the stranded, mismatched travelers must band together to stop the invasion—or serve themselves up as a main course. The problem is, they may lose their minds to each other before losing their brains to the zombies.”

John Waters denounces Canadian Manson film

Legendary gay American filmmaker John Waters has expressed his displeasure over the creation and release of the low-budget Canadian feature Leslie, My Name Is Evil, which opens this Friday. The film depicts one of the Manson trials in an entirely unrealistic style and, in particular, focuses on the infatuation one juror had with Leslie Van Houten, one of Manson's followers who was charged with murder. Waters has recently been on a campaign to see Van Houten, now 61 and still incarcerated in a California prison, paroled. In an email response to Xtra, Waters wrote, "Both myself and Leslie were horrified this movie was made, and I will never be able to watch it no matter what the intent."

The Piranha 3D TV ad the networks don't want you to see

First, director Alexandre Aja was rejected by Comic-Con, when the convention refused to allow his Piranha 3D footage to be screened in San Diego as part of the official programming. And now he's been rejected by The CW, MTV and Fox as well—all of whom refused to air his TV ad as submitted.
Ryan Secrest (yes, that Ryan Secrest) was the first to share the ad judged too gory and sexy to be seen on TV. But what's more interesting than the ad itself are the comments explaining exactly what changes were necessary for the commercial to be considered airworthy.
First, check out the ad for Piranha 3D, which opens tomorrow:
