“The Tapes” trailer

Let me just say that “The Tapes” is stacking up to be some freaky fucking shit! As if the “Blairwitch” gave birth to a bastard violent child of rape from some freak off the set of “The Strangers”! That kinda mind fuck freakified stuff. This is definitely one for the collection.
the_tapes
A gritty, urban teen horror in the "found footage" realm, The Tapes is set in the winter of 2008 where three teenage friends, Nathan (Oceng), Gemma (Sparkes) and her boyfriend Dan (Maza), visited Whitstable, Kent to shoot location footage for Gemma’s showreel and her Big Brother TV show audition video. While filming in one of the area’s many pubs, they briefly encountered a local farmer and were later informed by the barmaid that the man was a harmless ‘swinger’ who regularly hosted sex parties at his nearby farm.

New Images and a Clip from “The Thing” Prequel

The Thing Movie 2011
Antarctica: an extraordinary continent of awesome beauty. It is also home to an isolated outpost where a discovery full of scientific possibility becomes a mission of survival when an alien is unearthed by a crew of international scientists. The shape-shifting creature, accidentally unleashed at this marooned colony, has the ability to turn itself into a perfect replica of any living being. It can look just like you or me, but inside, it remains inhuman. In the thriller The Thing, paranoia spreads like an epidemic among a group of researchers as they’re infected, one by one, by a mystery from another planet. Paleontologist Kate Lloyd (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) has traveled to the desolate region for the expedition of her lifetime. Joining a Norwegian scientific team that has stumbled across an extraterrestrial ship buried in the ice, she discovers an organism that seems to have died in the crash eons ago. But it is about to wake up. When a simple experiment frees the alien from its frozen prison, Kate must join the crew’s pilot, Carter (Joel Edgerton), to keep it from killing them off one at a time. And in this vast, intense land, a parasite that can mimic anything it touches will pit human against human as it tries to survive and flourish.

With the energy and action of films like “Gossip” and “Wild Things” and the nostalgia and eerie macabre sensation reminiscent of “Nightmare On Elm Street” the  original, “Needle” is sure to give new energy and blood pulsing fear to we Americans.  Oh and this little toy they introduce in this film is on my muthafuckin’ Christmas list bitches!

“Laid To Rest 2: Chromeskull” Sept. 20th!

chromeskull
It is almost here! The release of my new breakout nightmare god Chromeskull. “Laid To Rest” at first thought seemed to me like one of those “why bother” low budget horror movies but then OMG! Chromeskull had me wet and bothered like a horny school girl on friday night! It is one of my faves for my horror collection, not to mention it has my near pedaphilic pin-up addiction Thomas Dekker in it. Now with the days counting down till time for part 2 rock me hard …I am feeling those like a virgin chiller quivers running up my thighs again! So just because it is almost Sept. 20th here is the trailer for “Laid to Rest 2: Chromeskull”….
ChromeSkull: Laid to Rest 2 picks up three months after we last left ChromeSkull (Principe) at the end of the original Laid to Rest. Tommy (Dekker), who’s struggling to come to terms with his encounter with the masked killer, has now gone missing courtesy of the maniacal Preston (Green), a mysterious player in the sequel with a sinister connection to ChromeSkull.
Meanwhile, our killer has set his sights on a new girl, Jess (Michaels), and after the young girl disappears, Detective King (Yeoman) must race against the clock to find her and Tommy before it’s too late and try to put an end to ChromeSkull’s deadly legacy.

New “Real Steel” Poster is Rok’em Sok’em!

Real-Steel-2011-Movie-Poster1-600x889
A gritty, white-knuckle, action ride set in the near-future, where the sport of boxing has gone hi-tech, “Real Steel” stars Hugh Jackman as Charlie Kenton, a washed-up fighter who lost his chance at a title when 2000-pound, 8-foot-tall steel robots took over the ring. Now nothing but a small-time promoter, Charlie earns just enough money piecing together low-end bots from scrap metal to get from one underground boxing venue to the next. When Charlie hits rock bottom, he reluctantly teams up with his estranged son Max (Dakota Goyo) to build and train a championship contender. As the stakes in the brutal, no-holds-barred arena are raised, Charlie and Max, against all odds, get one last shot at a comeback.

“Satan Hates You” Artwork from Danger After Dark

SatanHat_HiResCover
From the press release:
Dubbed "a clever collision of flamboyant gore and social commentary" by Variety, the over-the-top shocker follows Marc (Don Wood), a homicidal maniac driven by demons buried deep within his soul, and Wendy (Christine Spencer), a young girl who lives life fast and hard without a second's thought to the consequences. Their separate paths will eventually cross, but will it be on the road to salvation or the highway to hell?
TLA President Derek Curl said: “We couldn’t think of a better title to re-launch Danger After Dark with. Satan Hates You has all the makings of a true cult classic, and we can’t wait to bring it to the fans.”
Satan Hates You comes to DVD on October 10th in the UK and October 18th in the US.
