"Eulogy For A Vampire" DVD Release Date...

Thanks to Dread Central for the heads up on indie film DVD release date. "Eulogy For A Vampire" comes to DVD on March 8th from Water Bear Films.
Synopsis:
A remote, rural monastery houses the young repressed monks of the Order of Pathicus and their dark secrets. Tainted by the severe murder of a young acolyte after a rebuked advance, the monks further retreat from a society they crave to join. After a quarter century of silence, the house’s violent past yearns for awakening. Animals are found eviscerated, odd sounds breathe in the night air, and an evil presence is felt throughout.
When an unconscious young drifter is discovered near the monastery, his sexual presence unsettles the young novices as well as the resident priests. The man’s dark charisma ensnares the attentions of the young novices as they are unraveled by their tense obsessions, except for the monk Rafael, who resists the stranger’s temptations and seeks escape from the doomed cage of the crumbling monastery.

Director Patrick McGuinn (Sun Kissed) and screenwriter André Salas (Latin Boys Go to Hell) create an erotic homage to "Dark Shadows", Hammer films, and 1970s Italian tales percolating with a sexual pulse, a menacing tone, a tinge of sly camp, and supernatural evocations. Eulogy for a Vampire was filmed in an atmospheric 19th-century manse in historic Philmont, New York, owned by Eleanor Ambos, the celebrated New York City antique dealer. The film stars Wilson Hand as Father Anthony, David McWeeney as Father Lars, Damacio Ruiz as Rafael, Angelo Tursi as Sebastian, Ryan G. Metzger as Florian, Craig Philip Lumsden as Eric, Darin Guerrasio as Brother Matthew, Nate Steinwachs as Stefano, Shawn Hollenbach as McGee, and Sal Bardo as Young Anthony.

Benjamin Walker is Abe The Fearless Vampire Slayer!

Producer/director Timur Bekmambetov and Fox have found their fearless vampire hunter/16th President of the United States. Benjamin Walker will play Mr. Lincoln in movie version of Seth Graham-Smith’s “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter”, which purports to expose the famous President’s secret role in ridding the country of bloodsucking vampires in-between that whole Civil War and Presidency stuff. The role would see Walker play Honest Abe from the age of 20 to 55, top hat and beard included.

It’s been 5 years since the outbreak that wiped out 85% of the world’s population, but the war between Re-Animates (Re-Ans) and Humans wages on. Most of the major cities are still uninhabitable. Within the few surviving cities, the Re-Ans have been segregated into “zones” and are policed by the R-Division of the QUASI S.W.A.T. Unit who hunt to re-kill the Re-Ans in the hope of quelling a second outbreak.

“R-Division, Frontline” is America’s #1 TV show in this Post-Apocalyptic world. Weekly, the show follows different R-Division units on the battlefield as they work to keep America Safe and Re-An free. Jimmy, the videographer for the Outbreak Network, thought this week’s episode would be like every other. He was wrong. Through the lens of his eyes and camera, we see raw, revealed and uncut, that which could be mankind’s last day.

'The Vampire Diaries' Ad "Got Wood?"

"Chromeskull: Laid to Rest II" Trailer and Photos

"Laid to Rest" was one of the most impressive and promising horror movies to come out in recent years. I place it with "Hatchet" and "Night of the Demons" 2010 remake, and of coarse "All About Evil".  The actors were really into their  characters and did not seem forced on me. Mostly though, the killer is iconic. I mean what the fuck was he anyway! A deranged psycho with a chrome fetish and obsession with dead bodies. You can't find a more horrifically perfect combo. Thankfully the wait is almost over because Chromeskull has returned for another round of killing. "Laid to Rest II" trailer is great treat... Thanks to BD dot com for the international trailer of "Chromeskull: Laid to Rest II".

ChromeSkull, the mysterious and relentless killer who hunts down young women and records their grisly demises, all while donning a iconic silver skull mask and a video camera strapped to his shoulder. And while it may have seemed like ChromeSkull was dead at the end of the first Laid to Rest, every horror fan knows that evil never really dies.

Set Photos From “The Toxic Avenger 5” movie

The sequel takes place following Citizen Toxie .

Lloyd Kaufman said:
"Unlike Superman, who never seems to age, Toxie gets older with each movie. In THE TOXIC AVENGER PARTs II-IV, he has gotten married and had children. Now he’ll have to deal with his wife’s menopause, his erectile dysfunction—which is a constant erection—and his rebellious kid. We’re on to the next generation, like STAR TREK. We’ll see a little of Toxie’s twins in kindergarten, and then as teenagers. The son is rebellious, while the daughter is ultra-politically correct. We’ll show her going through puberty, which should be the most colorful monthly cycle ever put on film! We want to focus on the father/child relationship, and the generation gap. There is also a villain who wants to rename Tromaville Scheisseville, and FANGORIA and other independent media will be prominently featured!”
