A psychotic serial killer on the loose in the woods crosses paths with a group of unsuspecting teenagers, and soon people are dying one by one. It's a popular horror premise, but mobilized in a refreshingly novel iteration by first-time filmmakers Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado. Among a brother and sister with a dark secret, a kindly forest ranger and his old dog, and four tennis players waylaid by a pair of unhinged local cops, misunderstandings and fear pull Rabies' protagonists inexorably deeper into the infectious, indiscriminate violence foreshadowed in the film's title.

"Silent Hill 2" Movie Set Photos Bring Forth A Carnival Of The Demented

Thanks to the Bleeding Cool Site for gathering some viral stills from the set of the "Silent Hill 2: Revelations". The images paint a dark and demented festival of the damned reminiscent of some side show at a Marylin Manson concert cerca 1994. Below are a few of the images and I suggest checking out the Bleeding Cool site for all the images.

"The Bleeding House" World Premiere at Tribeca Film Festival

On the surface, the Smiths are an average American family, with a happily married mother and father, a moody 16-year-old daughter, and a distracted 18-year-old son. But patriarch Matt Smith appears a bit on edge, and the family is eerily damaged by something in its past. One night when a sweet-talking preacher carrying a briefcase arrives at their home after his car is disabled on a nearby road, it seems like this Christian man's presence may be just the breath of fresh air the family needs. But are the Smiths are ready for the atonement this neighborly guest has in store?

"Tool Box Murders 2" Sales Trailer

I ran across the sales trailer at Dread Central for "Toolbox Murders 2" and from the looks of it the film is geared to be as gory if not more than the first. There is definitely a lot more body parts and blood.

Official Synopsis
Picking up directly after the events Tobe Hooper's 2003 version of The Toolbox Murders, TBK intensifies the terrifying exploration into one of Hollywood's most twisted and morbid serial killers in the annals of American history.
Survivors Nell and Stephen continue their night of hell as they're rushed to the nearby Hollywood Memorial hospital. Meanwhile next-generation, tech-savvy CSI detectives Cole and Barnes coordinate with hard-nosed LAPD criminal profiler McGavin to exhume TBK's modern day tomb and uncover its origins, leading toward a shocking revelation involving old Hollywood's seedy underground and one doctor's secret past.
TBK will shock, sicken, and thrill you while pushing every envelope imaginable as it leads you into the darkest recesses of what is to become one of the classic horror films of the millennium.

Chiller TV gets Original Movies and New Original Special

Chiller will look to build on the ratings success of its first original special with the rollout of two original films and a new special, the network announced Tuesday.

Among the original film titles slated for 2011 is Steve Niles' Remains, which follows the two lone survivors of a bizarre accident that reduced most of the world's population to zombies, said network officials. The movie, written by John Doolan and directed by Colin Theys, is based on a graphic novel by Steven Niles (30 Days of Night).

Also, Brian Keene's Ghoul -- based on a horror novel of the same name -- follows a group of young friends who risk their lives to stop a rash of disappearances in their town.
Following up on the success of its December Chiller 13: The Decade's Scariest Movie Moments, the network will air later this year Chiller 13: Horror's Creepiest Kids which takes a look back at the 13 all-time creepiest kids in horror.
The network is hoping its new slate of original programming will continue its ratings growth. Since officially receiving Nielsen ratings in June 2010, Chiller's primetime ratings have grown double digits, up 47% in Adults 18-49 and 20% in Adults 25-54, said the network.

"Thor: God of Thunder" Prologue Trailer

Cody Matthew Blymire Rocks 2 New Horrors

1st one I was led to by Horror Society Site ...thanks for that...entitled Witches Playground.

WITCHES PLAYGROUND is a chilling story about a group of teens who decide to have a party on Halloween at an abandoned haunted attraction. Rumored to be haunted by a malicious old witch. Thirteen years prior to this night, a young girl witnessed a gruesome series of accidents that marked her permanently. Now as the party commences, she must face her greatest fears, discover the connections between the past and the present and somehow survive the infinite terrors of the Witches Playground...Enter if you dare.

The second one I found when I went to Cody's Facebook Page
HALLOW POINTE is a chilling story about love, life and what lengths you go through to try and save someone; all told within the classic horror staple, a creature feature. The film is centered around Madeline's Closet, a quaint bed and breakfast hidden away from the world on a hidden dirt road in the woods. Henry and Jane are hoping a weekend there will help rekindle their love for each other. Staying there, along with a few other guests, everything seems to be going as planned until the sun sets and the full moon lights up the sky. Instead of trying to save their marriage they must now work together to try and save their lives.

Oh and did I mention that it has Kane Hodder in it...how can you go wrong with that guy attached to your project!

Hallow Pointe is expected in 2012! Still waiting for release date on Witche's Playground...
