Lovin’ the new Hammer blood being pumped back into horror of late! Hammer horror actor Shane Briant and Clement Von Franckenstein (a real life baron whose family name Mary Shelley adapted for her 1818 classic) are to star in Sherlock Holmes vs Frankenstein, the feature film debut of French director Gautier Cazenave. The film, which sees Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson travelling to Germany to investigate a strange case in the village of Darmstadt, is being produced by Marteau Pictures, with Parkland Pictures handling international sales. Cazenave has also written the script. Shooting will take place in 2013.
