Jessica Cameron Joins Cast Of “Virginia Obscura”

Tony Osborne’s “Virginia Obscura” is a dark avante garde horror film that blends elements of grindhouse and torture with more haunting psychological elements. In the press release Osborne states ““I’m thrilled to bring together an incredible cast of stars from the 1980’s horrors and cult B-movies that we know and love, as well as the next generation of genre stars following in their footsteps.” The excitement revolves around this intense screenplay that Osborne wrote which placed in the top 25 scripts entered at both Shriekfest and Screamfest Festivals. Matt Mitler is the iconic star of cult-classics THE MUTILATOR, BASKETCASE 2, DEADTIME STORIES, BREEDERS, THE OCCULTIST, and MUTANT WAR. He later directed his indie movie CRACKING UP, before voicing POKEMON cartoons and founding an experimental theater company in New York.

Ken Abraham is a fan favorite for his roles in CREEPOZOIDS, HOBGOBLINS, TERROR NIGHT, DEADLY EMBRACE and VICE ACADEMY. He has also guested on various TV shows such as 21 JUMP STREET, ANGEL, THE SHIELD, NYPD BLUE and LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT, and works as a TV/Film Editor.

Jessica Cameron is leading the new generation of Scream Queens and “reminds me of a young Linnea,” says Osborne, with a blossoming filmography of horror flicks to her credit, including SILENT NIGHT, CAMEL SPIDERS, THE BLACK DAHLIA HAUNTING, and THE SLEEPER. She won a Golden Cob award for Rising B-Movie Actress.

Here is the synopsis for “Virginia Obscura”:
At the heart of most slasher films, there’s a bunch of sex-crazed teenagers getting drunk and wild, but what if a masked killer doesn’t crash the party? Instead what if, 20 years later, their darkest sins are suddenly exposed… and punished.
This is the story of a young woman’s embittered search for her birth father, after being conceived at one of those drunken parties. Her mother shamefully revealed the names of four men on her deathbed – these potential fathers awaken in a secluded farmhouse, kidnapped by the “daughter” they never knew existed.
Accused of being “deadbeat dads” by their volatile captor, while a pinhole of light allows a conflicted voyeur to spy on the troubling events inside the farmhouse; the twisted truth will finally be revealed in a showdown of DNA paternity test results, revelations and revenge!
