Feminist Horror "Take Back The Knife" Goes On Tour

Chicago-based filmmaker Matt Storc is proud to announce the TAKE BACK THE FILM TOUR. The tour is meant to promote  feminist point-of-view horror film TAKE BACK THE KNIFE. The tour kicks off Monday, September 24th in Washington, DC.

The first stop will be a screening with Washington Psychotronic Film Society in DC on Monday, September 24th at Smoke & Barrel at 7pm. The next stop will be Siouxpercon in Sioux Falls, SD on Saturday, September 29th for midnight screening. More stops to be announced.

After surviving separate gruesome incidents, three girls help each other adapt and cope with the scars that were left behind by the slashers, psychopaths, and monsters from their pasts. When a relaxing weekend getaway is interrupted by a crazed stalker, tensions rise as the three fall back into the hell they tried to forget. This time however, they would rather spill blood than run from their demons. Who will make it out alive?

TAKE BACK THE KNIFE originally was set to be released after a successful 2015- 2016 festival run. However, after being picked up for distribution in 2016, the film sat in limbo when the distribution company went under. Having barely made an initial presence on the horror scene the director has decided to take his finished feature on the road in time for Halloween.
