Congratulations to Ryan Stacy and Shawn Burkett over at Concept Media for a successful crowd funding campaign. Stacy posted early today on his Facebook page that “Midsummer Nightmares II: Summer’s End” exceed their goal. The sequel to the 2011 indie slasher flick picks up three years after the massacre. The second installment is set to star Kelci C. Magel, Stacy Freeders, Scott Gillespie, Julie Sherwood, Autumn Richardson-bringing back some of the original cast as well as some new blood! Ryan Stacy is set to direct “Midsummer Nightmares II: Summer’s End” as well with more plot details to come soon.
