Stephen King’s Joyland Heads To The Big Screen

Word has come out that Stephen King’s noir horror Joyland is getting a big screen make over. Tate Taylor (The Help) has optioned the rights to adapt the Stephen King novel into a movie. The book is set to release next month June 4th, but here’s a brief synopsis to get you started:
joylandSet in a small-town North Carolina amusement park in 1973, Joyland tells the story of the summer in which college student Devin Jones comes to work as a carny and confronts the legacy of a vicious murder, the fate of a dying child, and the ways both will change his life forever.
