Worldwide genre
specialist Jinga Films has added Padraig Reynolds supernatural horror "Worry Dolls" to its AFM slate. Written and
produced by Christopher Wiehl and Gregory J Haggart, "Worry Dolls" received
its World premier at FrightFest in the UK and has since been selected for Dublin
Horrorthon in Ireland and Buenos Aires Rojo Sangre in Argentina. Meanwhile,
screenings have been booked at the forthcoming American Film Market in Santa
Monica where "Worry Dolls" will be viewed by distributors from all over the
World.
Padraig
Reynolds debut feature "Rites Of Spring", also repped by Jinga, sold to
over twenty territories and was released in North America by IFC
Midnight. In "Worry Dolls", Christopher
Wiehl (Jericho) stars as a detective investigating a series of voodoo related
killings in deep dark Mississippi, but when he connects the murders with a
previous case involving Guatamalan talismans he finds himself up against the
clock to save his possessed daughter.
