“Gut Munchers” is an Indie gore fest from DidYouBuryIt? Productions and directed by Jason Snellgrove. The film creates a campy but cult classic nightmare in which a stray barrel of toxic waste leaks into a stream on local hunting grounds. Soon all hell breaks loose! Radiation hit's the local redneck population, and turns them into GUT MUNCHERS! The only thing standing in the way of a regional outbreak are 4 out of luck College students, a local sheriff, and a Ragg-tag group of radio personalities! It stars Tamara Summers, Jennie Short, Robbie Raggs, Tom Stedham, Josh Carples, Jonna Scott, Amber Davis, Michael Dewey, Clay Smith and Rob Clements. The trailer reminds me of Troma Studios and Astron-6 movies which are some of my favorite Indie studios.
