In 2011 Steve Goltz and Kevin Sommerfield broke onto the Horror scene with the critically acclaimed short film “Teddy”. It was a truly original and bloody good slasher short that even landed in the top picks for Elvira’s Horror Hunt. The campfire nightmare won Audience favorite at Chicago’s Fear Fest in 2012 as well. The duo proved again that horror was in their hearts with the brutal high school killer short “Popularity Killer” which was followed up by the dark familial horror short “Blood Brothers”. Now director Steve Goltz and writer Kevin Sommerfield are extending their twisted slasher visions into a feature length fright fest with the homage slasher flick “Don’t Go To The Reunion” After a rigorous crowd funding campaign that proved very successful, the film has just released a very 80’s slasher-ific inspired poster for the project. Also check out a recent clip posted from the flick below the retro one-sheet. “Don’t Go To The Reunion” tells the story of Scott Rantzen (Brady Simenson), a horror movie loving misfit who is teased by the popular students in school. When a date with the very popular and very beautiful Erica Carpenter (Stephanie Leigh Rose) backfires, he feels as though his life is ruined. Ten years later, the gang reunite for their class reunion. Little do they know that someone is waiting for them and ready to see that they pay for what they did. Is Scott back for revenge and will the old gang survive to tell the tale? It'll be more gore for Class of 04. This genre delight stars Kaleb Shorey, J.R.
