Drew Daywalt To Direct “The Hurting Man”

Horror staple and award winning director Drew Dawaylt has received a deal to direct “The Hurting Man” based on his own original screenplay. The story is a supernatural horror that follows the story of a police officer who tragically finds his family murdered after a failed 911 call and now must work to save their souls from a demonic boogieman haunting his childhood home. The film begins production this fall and Dawaylt promises to keep us all up to date on the film’s Facebook Page.

Daywalt told Fearnet that the script was one he held close to his heart because it was written based on his one worst fears “both as a parent of small children, and also tapping into my own childhood fears of a hideously costumed boogieman.” Check out the promo poster below!
