Check Out The Trailer For “Ghosts Of Georgia”

ghosts of georgia“The Ghosts Of Georgia” is actually called “The Haunting In Connecticut 2: Ghosts Of Georgia” but I take issue with that title. One the film has no connection to Connecticut nor the characters in the first film. This is a completely independent story based on true events. The story was featured on A Haunting television series several years back and is actually on of the few tales that scared the hell out of me. The trailer is pretty interesting aside from the opening scene with the banjo. I am from GA and I never heard the banjo in our local music outside of Grand Ole Opry episodes and Hee-Haw.A fiddle would have been more appropriate-hello “Devil Went Down To Georgia”! Anyway this is probably one of the creepiest stories and if the film didn’t get distracted by gimmicks then the movie should be good as well. I just think they should have just went with “Ghosts Of Georgia” or “The Haunting In Georgia” and detached from the Connecticut story completely. This “sequel” will be VOD February 1st and is directed by Tom Elkins. It stars Emily Alyn Lind, Chad Michael Murray, Abigail Spencer, Katee Sackhoff and Cicely Tyson.

“When Andy Wyrick moves his wife Lisa and daughter Heidi to an historic home in Georgia, they quickly discover they are not the house’s only inhabitants. Joined by Lisa’s free-spirited sister, Joyce, the family soon comes face-to-face with a bone-chilling mystery born of a deranged desire… a haunting secret rising from underground and threatening to bring down anyone in its path.”
