Netflix has announced a September premier date for upcoming series 'Maniac'. The announcement came Sunday during the TCA summer press tour. The series will premier September 21st and stars Jonah Hill, Emma Stone, Justin Theroux, and Patrick Somerville.
'Maniac', a 10-episode limited series, centers on the stories of Annie Landsberg (Emma Stone) and Own Milgrim (Jonah Hill), two strangers drawn to a mysterious pharmaceutical trial, each for their own reason. Annie’s disaffected and aimless, focused on a broken relationship with her mother and sister; Owen, the fifth son of a wealthy New York industrialist, has always struggled with a disputed case of schizophrenia.
