“A Man Called Nereus” is a micro-budget sci-fi,/comedy that is gaining quite the cult following. The film is directed by Nathan Hill who also wrote the screenplay for the film that tackles time travel with a bit of dark humor, “nerd” action which collides with some new age crime-action. “A Man Called Nereus” stars Seth Gandrud, Orchid Tao, David C. Hayes, Joe Ricci and is currently available on demand at iTunes, and Amazon. The film is the debut feature for Nathan Hill.
Nereus is an autistic man who is being held captive by the Filaria crime family due to his unique ability to predict the exact outcome of sporting events through time travel. This all changes the moment he is kidnapped by a junkie who plans to take him to Las Vegas. Now on the run, the two must weave through madmen, corrupt law enforcement and new-age terrorists.
