A while back Brett Simmons revealed the poster for his upcoming creature feature “Animal”. The poster conjured images of another creature horror film, “Feast”. Now, with the release of the first official trailer, we see the extend of Simmons’ vision for his own feature. “Animal” is a very different beast, but the intensity and terror seems just as formidable. I am amped for this Chiller Films flick.
“Animal” stars Keke Palmer, Amaury Nolasco, Parker Young, Joey Lauren Adams, Elizabeth Gillies, Paul Iacono, Thorsten Kaye, and Jeremy Sumpter. The film was released on June 17th through VOD and a limited theatrical showing.
When plans for a weekend vacation hit a dead end, a group of close-knit friends find themselves stranded in unfamiliar territory, pursued by a menacing, blood thirsty predator. Holed up in an isolated cabin, tensions mount as long-buried secrets are revealed. As the body count rises, the group must put their differences aside and fight for survival.
