Release Date Set For “The Possession Of Michael King”

Anchor Bay has released the release date for “The Possession of Michael King” with the a chilling admonition. “Beckon the devil and he will answer.” The directorial debut of David Jung opens in theaters on August 22 and comes to iTunes, On Demand, DVD and Blu-ray with UltraViolet on August 26. “The Possession Of Michael King” stars Shane Johnson, Ella Anderson, Cara Pifko, Dale Dickey, Tobias Jelinek and Julie McNiven.

Grieving the shocking loss of his wife, documentary filmmaker, Michael King sets out to disprove the existence of the supernatural. Through a series of experiments with the help of demonologists, necromancers, and various practitioners of the occult, King hopes to reveal that when these explorations fail, he’ll once and for all have proof that religion, spiritualism, and the paranormal are but mere myth.
