Showtime has announced that the new supernatural drama series ‘Penny Dreadful’ will debut on Sunday, May 11th at 10 pm. The series brings together some of horror’s most iconic classic creations together in Victorian London and names Timothy Dalton, Eva Green, Josh Hartnett, Rory Kinnear, Reeve Carney, Rory Kinnear, Billie Piper, Harry Treadaway and Danny Sapani among the cast. The series is described as a frightening psychosexual thriller. ‘Penny Dreadful’ is created by John Logan. J.A. Bayona is director of the first two of the 8 episodes that will make up season one.
