SXSW Blog 'The Playlist' has given a great break down of the little ghost-adventure film's synopsis:
"The boyish, limber Claire (Sara Paxton) is in the middle of what her sarcastic coworker Luke (Pat Healy) describes as a “quarterlife crisis,” and, having dropped out of college, sees no future beyond the closing of the hotel. Because the inn has experienced such low traffic, the frequently-irritable Luke has set up a website documenting the history of a ghost that haunts the rooms. Enlisting Claire to help him explore the hotel by tracking EVP, Luke speaks of a single ghost encounter, which has fueled her still-skeptical interest. Because the ghost seems to be the only company around, wasting hours tracking the possibly nonexistent cracks and creaks of the underworld seems to pass the time. Luke owns a laptop to explore his internet porn interests, but Claire can only retreat to the coffee shop, where the chatty barista (“Tiny Furniture” star Lena Dunham, in a spirited cameo) takes every opportunity to overshare."-Gabe Toro
I am like a big kid and happened to love "Scooby-Doo" and "The Haunted Mansion" as much as I like my gory gruesome horror genre so this doesn't dis way me from seeing the film, however it will be when the dvd comes out my way instead of paying the moola to sit at the cina-plex, unless someone knows of a rent-a-kid company with 8 yr olds dying to be spooked. Actually got a couple that fit the descript in my family so who knows I may go see it after all. This is if either one can be pulled from their 360 Live long enough to be bothered with film.
anyway before I go on rambling about nothing important at all let me tell ya to go check out the review or at iW...
