New ‘Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Airs Tonight

Tonight an all new ‘Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ airs on ABC. Episode for is titled “Eye Spy” and has the team hunting down a mysterious woman who has single-handedly committed numerous high-stakes heists. But when the woman’s identity is revealed, a troubling secret stands to ruin Coulson. ‘Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ hits the airwaves tonight at 8pm. “Maniac” Gets Some VHS Love

Modern visceral nightmare remake “Maniac” is getting some VHS love. The film directed by Franck Khalfoun, which stars  Elijah Wood, Nora Arnezeder, America Olivo and Megan Duffy is due out on Blu-ray and DVD from IFC Films on October 15, 2013. Now it seems that the collectible VHS edition will be released by Mondo Video on October 22nd. It will be a highly sought after addition to horror fan collections as only 500 copies will be made. New Promo Art For “Chimera”

A new sales art poster has come out for horror thriller “Chimera”. The film is directed by Joshua Cordes and is currently in post-production. The film stars Erik Fellows, T.J. Hoban, Alec Gillis, Michael Petrone, Garrison Koch, Phet Mahathongdy, Jackie Martin and Lauren Marin.

Three attractive sisters in their 20′s endure a series of traumatizing dreams that are strangely connected. After conventional medicine fails, they engage in an experimental therapy that promises a cure.

Teaser Poster For “A Voodoo Possession”

Check out the teaser poster art revealing Danny Trejo’s next horror project “A Voodoo Possession”. The film is directed by Walter Boholst and will be presented at November’s American Film Market.

Supernatural Thriller “Jinn” Gets Theatrical Release

Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad’s “Jinn” gets theatrical release.  Exxodus Pictures based out of Detroit and Freestyle Releasing announced a North American theatrical release set for April 4th, 2014. The film, directed by Ahmad stars Dominic Rains (“Flight 93”), Serinda Swan (USA’s “Graceland”), Ray Park (“Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace”), Faran Tahir (“Elysium”) and William Atherton (“Die Hard”).

The amazing story of JINN involves ancient mythological beings that have rarely been explored in US cinemas. The premise of the jinn concept, known to over 1 billion people around the world, involves ghost-like entities and revolves around creation mythology.

Already generating a substantial amount of early attention, this is the first film to accurately introduce and portray the jinn concept. JINN is also unique in that the vehicle used in the action sequences in the film, known as the “Firebreather,” was designed by the director, Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad, and is the first vehicle in motion picture history available to the public for purchase. The “Firebreather” is a V8, 618 horsepower super exotic American muscle car with 50 limited editions being produced as the exact replica of the vehicle in the film. The car, several of which have already been sold, was designed by Exxodus to honor their hometown by creating modern design that fuses the soul of classic, American muscle.

The distribution deal was negotiated by Freestyle’s Co-President Mark Borde, Head of Acquisitions Chris Charalambous and Richard Mandell and Najam Syed from Exxodus Pictures.

Synopsis
In the beginning, three were created. Man made of clay. Angels made of light. And a third made of fire.
