Check out the teaser poster for “Monsters On Main Street”. A horror comedy in the mold of Shaun of the Dead meets Friday the 13th lines up for production this October. From writer, producer and director Brad Leo Lyon, the creator of ‘Little Creeps’, comes the new horror comedy ‘Monsters On Main Street’, starring horror icon Robert Z’Dar, two time Grammy nominee and American Comedy Award winner Judy Tenuta, and more.

In a small town suffering from the news of its first ever serial slasher, local high school athletic director Lance Dawson decides to get his down on his lucky buddy Paul Blake a job coaching girls basketball. But when the fact that Paul's never coached, let alone played, basketball could cost both of them their jobs, they seek out Daniel Buckworth, the town's local psychic, for help. Bu
ckworth's plan to summon spirits to help the girls win games fails when instead of just communicating with them, they accidentally awaken them in the form of zombies. Main Street has seen its better days as it gets ready for a three way battle royal between the slasher, zombies, and a group of friends who may be this small town's only hope for survival.

“Carrie” Remake Details & Release Date

The “Carrie” remake will be slated for March 2013 release barring any changes or issues. Hollywood release dates have been unpredictable before so nothing is ever set in stone. But also with this tidbit of info on the flick directed by Kimberly Pierce we have a full synopsis for the movie that is rumored to be closer to the actual story by Stephen King than the movie.

“A reimagining of the classic horror tale about Carrie White (Chloë Grace Moretz), a shy girl outcast by her peers and sheltered by her deeply religious mother (Julianne Moore), who unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom.
The quiet suburb of Chamberlain, Maine, is home to the deeply religious and conservative Margaret White (Moore) and her daughter, Carrie (Moretz). Carrie is a sweet but meek outcast whom Margaret has sheltered from society. Gym teacher Miss Desjardin (Judy Greer) tries in vain to protect Carrie from local mean girls led by the popular and haughty Chris Hargenson (Portia Doubleday, Youth in Revolt), but only Chris’ best friend, Sue Snell (Gabriella Wilde, The Three Musketeers), regrets their actions. In an effort to make amends, Sue asks her boyfriend, high school heartthrob Tommy Ross (newcomer Ansel Elgort), to take Carrie to prom. Pushed to the limit by her peers at the dance, Carrie unleashes telekinetic havoc. Brian De Palma’s 1976 film version of CARRIE earned Oscar nominations for stars Sissy Spacek and Piper Laurie.
MGM and Screen Gems’ CARRIE is directed by Kim Peirce and produced by Kevin Misher (Public Enemies). J. Miles Dale (The Vow) serves as executive producer, and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Big Love) wrote the script from King’s original story. Christopher Jopp & Ethan Holbrook Are Totally “Buggin’”

Christopher Jopp and Ethan Holbrook have kicked off their campaign for funding Indie flick “Buggin’” on Kickstarter. The film focuses on your average everyday suburbia life. Here is their pitch: “We are not making this movie for us, our friends or our families. We are making this movie for YOU! We want it to be big. We want it to impress you and entertain you. We want everybody to see it, in and out of the Twin Cities. But we need your help.
When we came up with the idea for BUGGIN', we decided that if we were going to make it, we had to make it right. This means convincing practical spec
ial effects (NOT CGI), talented actors, a real score played on real instruments, and the right equipment to shoot it with. Unfortunately, none of these things are free.
Our goal amount, taking into account the cut that Kickstarter takes and the cost of distributing the rewards, is just enough to make the movie. Anything we make over the goal will go right into the movie, making it even better. If we make a lot more, it will allow us to start realistically developing more shorts, with the end goal being an anthology movie.”

The synopsis:
Sam's boring summer is brightened when the beautiful Mary moves in next door, but things get complicated when Sam discovers a terrible secret about her parents. He must fight to prevent their nefarious plans for their daughter in this wry suburban twist on monster movies and teenage romance.

Check Out The Teaser For “A Werewolf Boy”

Summoned by an unexpected phone call, an elderly woman visits a cottage the way she used to when she was a young girl. She remembers a boy she knew half a century before. Moving to a peaceful village when she was a girl she discovered a “wolf boy,” hiding his large, contorted body in the darkness.

The girl, now a woman, has never been able to purge the images of his wild eyes and animal-like behavior from her mind. She recalls teaching the boy how to wait patiently before a meal, how to wear clothes, how to speak, how to write and other human behaviors so that he could one day live like a normal man. She opened her heart to the innocent boy and he fell in love with the girl, the only person to ever show him affection. However when threatened, he let loose his bestial instincts and became the subject of the villagers’ fears. In order to save the life of the boy who risked his to be by her side, she left him with a promise: “Wait for me. I’ll come back for you.”

1.   Necromancy (1972)

“Necromancy” is also known as “The Witching” and stars Orson Wells as the head of a witches' coven in the town of Lilith, where he needs the powers of Pamela Franklin to raise his son from the dead.
















2. “Warlock Moon” (1973/1975)

A young girl mets a boy, they take a trip to the country, and they wind up meeting a creepy old woman who lives in a closed-down resort. “Warlock Moon” first saw regional release in 1973 then in 1975 garnered a wider more recognized release. It stars Laurie Walters and Joe Spano and was directed by Bill Herbert.













3. “Dead Of Night” (1988)

“Dead Of Night” also carries a different title as well, “Mirror Of Death”. The film is about an abused woman who conjures up a spirit to take revenge on the men who have misused her. Directed by Deryn Warren and stars Julie Merrill.















4. “Eyes Of Fire” (1983)

A preacher is accused of adultery and he and his followers are chased out of town and become stranded in an isolated forest which is haunted by the spirits of long dead Native Americans. “Eyes Of Fire” is directed by Avery Crounse.
















5. “Witchmaker” (1969)

Directed by William O’ Brian “Witchmaker” is about a psychic researcher and his assistants who investigate a series of murders of beautiful young women.

















6. “Spellbinder” (1988)

“Spellbinder” follows a lawyer who is lured by a mysterious woman into the path of devilish cult and their most sacred ritual. Directed by Janet Greek and starring Tim Daley and Kelly Preston.
