DVD Release Of 1964’s Gothic Horror “The Black Torment”

The 1964 classic, gothic horror “The Black Torment” will soon be on horror fan’s shelves. The DVD release of the Robert Hartford-Davis directed film will be released on April 29th, 2014 and stars Heather Sears, John Turner, Ann Lynn, Peter Arne. Pre-order is available now at Amazon.

An 18th-century gothic thriller, depicted with the vivid colors and overt eroticism borrowed from the Hammer horror films, “The Black Torment” has emerged from obscurity to become recognized as "a minor classic...basically another retelling of Du Maurier's Rebecca except with blood, guts, and ghostly goings-on" (britishhorrorfilms.co.uk).

Returning to his country estate with his new bride, English nobleman Sir Richard Fordyce finds himself under suspicion from angry locals for the rape and brutal murder of a young girl. With no one to turn to and his new wife threatening to shoot him, Sir Richard begins to question his own guilt... and sanity!

First Poster Released For WWE’s “Leprechaun: Origins”

The first official poster has been released for WWE’s reboot to the Leprechaun franchise, “Leprechaun: Origins”. The film is directed by Zach Lipovsky and stars Stephanie Bennett, Teach Grant, Bruce Blain, and Brendan Fletcher, with Dylan “Hornswoggle” Postl as the mythical menace to mankin, the Leprechaun.

The details for plot are still secreted but “Leprechaun: Origins” is described as a dark, rated-R horror and the seventh film in the franchise.

Release Date Set For “Devil In My Ride”

A release date has been set for road horror/comedy “Devil In My Ride”. The film is directed by Gary Michael Schultz and stars Sid Haig, Frank Zieger, Erin Breen, and Llou Johnson. “Devil In My Ride” will hit VOD May 13th, 2014.

After Doreen has been possessed by the devil on her wedding night, her groom Hank, and her rebellious brother Travis, put aside their differences to travel across country from Chicago to Las Vegas, in the hopes of finding a mythical street preacher who is said to be the last exorcist in America.

New Poster For “Bunnyman Massacre”

A new poster promoting Carl Lindbergh’s “The Bunnyman Massacre” has been released as the film gets ready to hit Chiller TV on April 18th. The 2012 slasher in a bunny suit stars David Scott, Joshua Lang, Julianne Dowler, Jennifer June Ross, and Heather Daley.

The adventures of Joe and Bunnyman know no limit of bloodlust and carnage. Bodies pile up as Bunnyman indiscriminately slaughters anything that crosses his path in a mutually beneficial relationship that gives Joe plenty of beef jerky to sell in his local store.

Blood Stained New Poster For “Let Us Prey”

Jordan Pacheco Set To Direct “Book Of Ash”

Horror Society put the word out that Lock Down Productions is set to produced the film “Book Of Ash” to be directed by Jordan Pacheco. So far Horror veterans Lynn Lowry (The Crazies), Timothy Patrick Quill (Army of Darkness, My Name is Bruce) along with Horror legend John Dugan (Grandpa in the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre) have signed on to star in the 2015 horror film.

History major Audrey Barrows uncovers a ancient book with a dark past, “The Book of Ash”. Audrey discovers the ink used to write the ancient text is made from the ashes of human sacrifices. The deeper she delves into the book’s history, the more she loses her own soul.

Teaser Released For Horror Film “Dark Awakening”

Check out the sneak peek teaser of horror suspense thriller “Dark Awakening”. The film is directed by Dean C. Jones and stars Lance Henriksen, Jason Cook, Valerie Azlynn, William Pifer, Lauren Sesselmann. Due out sometimes later this year, 2014, “Dark Awakening” follows District attorney James Thomas who, after the death of his mother, decides to move his wife (Jennifer) and seven year old son (Danny) to the family's estate home in rural Cedar Rock Falls, North Carolina.

Shortly after the transition Jennifer and Danny begin to experience strange paranormal occurrences. The house is haunted by the apparitions of nine dead children. Seeking answers and solace for the nightmare they are going through Jennifer approaches the local parish priest (Father Donovan) .

Unfortunately the mystery deepens as she discovers that he holds the darkest secret of all. He is cognizant of the origins of the dead children, the reason for their resurrection, and how and why it ties to her beloved husband James.
