The first clip has been released for horror film “Ditch Day Massacre”. A slasher for the modern era, “Ditch Day Massacre” is directed by indie film maker Joe Hendrick and stars Bill Oberst Jr, Katy Foley, Zach Silverman, Lynn Lowry, Kyle Morris, Samantha Dawn, Pandie Suicide, Garbriel De Santi, Morgan Benoit, Tara Gerard, Brad Potts.

Jenny Bilson is the all American sweetheart. The one mistake she is unaware of making comes back to haunt her in a very violent way, as her past returns for revenge. Described as a full-on intense, suspenseful and bloody a horror picture. This is probably what would have happened if Alfred Hitchcock had directed Ferris Beuller's Day Off and added 100 gallons of blood. Hell I am sold on that statement alone! A new trailer has been released for sci-fi creature comedy “Big Ass Spider”. Ben Ketai’s “Beneath” To Premiere At ScreamFest

Ben Ketai’s horror “Beneath” will hold it’s world premiere at this years ScreamFest in L.A. running the October 8th through the 17th. The film Jeff Fahey, Kelly Noonan, Joey Kern, Brent Briscoe, Mark L Young, and Eric Etebari. Check out the first official teaser for the film below. “Beneath” will show on the 8th at 8 pm.

“Beneath” follows a crew of coal miners becomes trapped 600 feet below ground after a disastrous collapse. As the air grows more toxic and time runs out, they slowly descend into madness and begin to turn on one another.

“The Secret Village” Gets Distribution Deal

Swamy Kandan directed horror “The Secret Village” has gained a distribution deal. Vertical Entertainment has announced that the indie distributor will release “The Secret Village” in limited theatrical release on October 18th. The film which stars Jonathan Bennett, Ali Faulkner, Stelio Savante and Richard Riehle will be released on DVD December 17th 2013. Check out the trailer below.

“The Secret Village” follows Greg, a screenwriter and Rachel, a beautiful journalist who research an outbreak of mass hysteria in a small village. They start to uncover a secret about ergot poisoning that has affected this village for years. But the cult activity has been kept a secret by the locals and when Greg disappears, Rachel is left alone to unravel the mystery and save their lives.

Full Trailer Released For “Skinwalker Ranch”

The full trailer has been released for paranormal thriller “Skinwalker Ranch”, a film based on true events at a real modern paranormal hotspot. “Skinwalker Ranch” is directed by Devin McGinn and stars Jon Gries, Kyle Davis, Erin Cahill, Devin McGinn, Matthew Rocheleau and Steve Berg. The film will see limited theatrical release on October 30th. Check out the trailer below.

In 2010 “Skinwalker Ranch” gained media attention after experiencing a wide range of unexplained phenomena. Reports ranged from UFO sightings to livestock mutilation, but maybe most notable was the disappearance of ranch owner Hoyt Miller’s eight year old son, Cody on November 11, 2010.

Close to a year later, Modern Defense Enterprises (MDE) has sent a team of experts to document and investigates the mysterious occurrences, which only escalate upon their arrival. The incidents become more violent, causing tensions to rise as the team must decide how far they will go to unlock the mysteries of “Skinwalker Ranch.” The group debates whether the answers are worth risking their lives for, or if they should just call off the investigation and leave the ranch – that is, if leaving is actually an option…

Premiere Date Set For “Gingerdead Man VS. Evil Bong”

Two of the coolest Full Moon killers in modern horror are going head to head in the latest Full Moon flick “Gingerdead Man VS. Evil Bong”. Now we have the premiere details. On October 7, 2013 in Los Angeles, CA. Full Moon will premiere the film at Raleigh Studios/Chaplin Theater on Melrose Ave. Info for that event here.

“Gingerdead Man VS. Evil Bong” is directed by legendary film maker Charles Band and stars Gary Busey, Tommy Chong, Mindy Robinson, John Patrick Jordan, Robin Sydney, Sonny Carl Davis, and Masuimi Max. There isn’t a lot known about the exact synopsis of the film but any fan of these franchises should be in for a real treat. I own both series boxsets and they are staples in my DVD viewing rotation. “Evil Bong” gets my love around 4.20 and around the holidays as does “Gingerdead Man”.
