The Ultimate Nazi Zombies On Flying Sharks Movie!

The crowd funding campaign has kicked off for “the ultimate Nazi zombies on flying sharks movie” , “Sky Sharks”, over on Kickstarter. The film is directed by Mark Fehse and proves there is no limit to the imagination shark horror fusion cinema. “Sky Sharks” stars Robert LaSardo, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Lynn Lowry, Lar Park-Lincoln, Nick Principe, Michaela Schaffrath, and Micaela Schäfer. Deep in the ice of the Antarctic, a team of geologists uncover an old Nazi laboratory, still intact, where dark experiments had occurred. Unwittingly the geologists unleash upon the world a top-secret experiment the Germans had been working on - modified sharks that are able to fly, whose riders are genetically mutated, undead super-humans. The only thing that can stop them, and possibly save the world, is a military task force called "Dead Flesh Four" - assembled from reanimated U.S. soldiers who fell in Vietnam.

                    

Behind The Scenes Featurette For Upcoming Horror “Bethany”

James Cullen Bressack has wrapped principle photography on his upcoming horror “Bethany”, written by Bressack and Zack Ward. Along with word of the filming completion Bressack and Film Courage has released some cool behind the scene clips from production. Check out the featurette below as well as some BTS stills from “Bethany”.

Bethany stars Stefanie Estes as Claire, a woman who moves back into her childhood home with her husband. The abusive, traumatic memories of her mother return to haunt her — as her husband becomes busier with work, she finds herself in a fog of memories — as a small figure tries to reach out to her. Bressack is directing the film, which also stars Tom Green, Shannen Doherty, Zack Wardm Felissa Rose,  and Anna Harr.

                             

New Teaser Released For “Something In The Woods”

A new official teaser trailer has been released for upcoming Bigfoot horror “Something In The Woods”. The film follows the strange and scary events at a local family farm. Inspired By Actual Events “Something In The Woods” stars David Ford, Angela Harger, Kayden Grisham, Mike L. Hall, Jon Bonzor and Terry Milam. It is set to have its premiere at this year’s Bigfoot Conference in Ohio May 15th .

Strange and scary things happen at small family farm, but for John Hartman there is only one thing to do , stand his ground against something that the rest of the world says doesn't exist .... until he realizes that nothing is more important than the safety of his family.

Official Trailer For “Hungry Hearts” Released

IFC Midnight plans to release upcoming psychological horror “Hungry Hearts” on VOD June 5th. Until that time check out the official trailer for the film starring Adam Driver and Alba Rohrwacher. “Hungry Hearts” is directed by Saverio Costanzo. There is also plans for a theatrical release to accompany the VOD date.

New York City newlyweds Jude (Girls’ Adam Driver) and Mina (I Am Love's Alba Rohrwacher) have a seemingly perfect relationship. But things take an unsettling turn with the birth of their son. Convinced that the baby must be kept free of all contaminants, Mina develops fanatical obsessions with veganism, cleanliness, and purity that may kill the child unless Jude can stop her. Release Date Finally Announced For “Forbidden Empire”

Oleg Stepchenko’s fantasy horror “Forbidden Empire” is finally getting a release date. The film has been in limbo for ages but will get released on VOD and theatrically May 22nd, 2015. “Forbidden Empire” stars Jason Flemyng (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels) and Charles Dance (Game of Thrones). The release comes courtesy of Entertainment One.

Early 18th century. Cartographer Jonathan Green undertakes a scientific voyage from Europe to the East. Having passed through Transylvania and crossed the Carpathian Mountains, he finds himself in a small village lost in impassable woods. Nothing but chance and heavy fog could bring him to this cursed place. People who live here do not resemble any other people which the traveler saw before that. The villagers, having dug a deep moat to defend themselves from the rest of the world, share a naive belief that they could save themselves from evil, failing to understand that evil has made its nest in their souls and is waiting for an opportunity to gush out upon the world.

New Thriller Series ‘Nightmares: The Series’ Currently In Production

Production has started on the new drama/thriller ‘Nightmares: The Series’ revolving around a young woman whose nightmares become real. The series is being developed for television and produced by Romane Simon and Ciera Foster. ‘Nightmares’ stars Ciera Foster, Travis Fear, Alex Montalban, Jay Tavare, special appearance by legendary actor /MMA Fighter, Benny the Jet . Romane Simon is directing the thrilling new series while Dexter Wandel has been tapped as Director of Photography.


Ciera Foster plays ‘Aella’, a young woman who begins experiencing terrible dreams. The nightmares soon follow her into the waking world. Her nightmares become our reality in Romane Simon’s new series. There isn’t a release date set but filming has been underway since late April. Simon is known for his blend of noir, horror and the paranormal. He is best known for his 2013 horror “Fason Nou/Our Way”, and the supernatural action series ‘Dream-Naperz’.

Simon is also currently filming his next feature film, which sees him behind the camera,  “Paranormal”. He is pre-production on the horror/romance adaptation of his novel Red To Black.

“Red To Black” will see Ciera Foster team up once more with Romane Simon as she is set to star in the feature, taking on the role of Daniella Gains. Foster is also busy at work for her next two features in various stages of production. Given her stunning looks, an ability to translate effortlessly from drama to horror I feel that Ciera Foster will be a force within the indie horror genre. I know I look forward to seeing her nightmarish reality when ‘Nightmares: The Series’ hits its release date.
