"Dexter" drew an astounding 1.8 million viewers.

Deadline reports that the fifth season premiere of Showtime's flagship drama "Dexter" drew an astounding 1.8 million viewers, the series' highest-rated debut to date and Showtime's highest-rated original series premiere in 15 years! It was up 16% from last year's opener but down from the show's record-setting finale last season, which drew 2.6 million viewers. Including a rerun at 11 PM, the Dexter premiere last night was watched by a total of 2.3 million viewers, 22% up from last year.

A sixth Paranormal Activity 2 clip was discovered that  bring them all together. Could they all be from one scene? It looks like the sequel, directed by Kip Williams, is shot from the perspective of various security cameras around a new house. The baby? What's his role? Who's the girl? And did we catch a glimpse of the demon?  Paramount releases the sequel to Oren Peli's smash hit in theaters on October 22.

'The Walking Dead' Poster Revealed

AMC released today the key art for its upcoming original drama The Walking Dead, which premieres Halloween night, Oct. 31 at 10PM | 9C.
Executive produced and written by three-time Academy Award nominee Frank Darabont, The Walking Dead tells the story of the months and years that follow a zombie apocalypse.
The series stars Andrew Lincoln (Love Actually), Jon Bernthal (The Pacific), Sarah Wayne Callies (Prison Break), Laurie Holden (The Mist), Jeffrey DeMunn (The Green Mile), Steven Yeun (The Big Bang Theory) and Emma Bell (The Bedford Diaries) as a group of survivors traveling in search of a safe and secure home.

'Dexter' Season 5 has started!

Tonight was the season premiere of Dexter's 5th Season on Showtime. I tuned in and watched in amazement at his downward spiral into chaos over Rita's death and onslaught of repercussions. I so wanted him to at least shed a tear at the funeral home when he watched as an old lady wept over her departed husband's casket, but he never did. I was impressed at his reaching his climax of emotions in the men's room at the boat fill station. Massive blood shed with the boat anchor! Anyway I like this show and hope that every episode has me slack-jawed and wide-eyed in shear astonishment.

Even after all of his years working at the park and in the face of a serious time crunch, Universal Studios Hollywood's creative director John Murdy still knows how to have a bit of devious fun while at work on the 2010 Halloween Horror Nights in Los Angeles. Murdy will admit to creeping around the event's various mazes under construction under the cover of night to scare an employee or two. Namely, with a giant Jason Voorhees in hand in the halls of one of this year's attractions, Friday the 13th: Kill Jason Kill.
