The Dibbuk is released! The movie used to be titled “The Dibbuk Box” but now goes by “Possession”. Either way I learned something new about exorcism. And that is this : “there is an actual Dibbuk kit that you can buy! Love it. Knowledge is power. Now check out the first image of “Possession”.
From producer Sam Raimi stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Kyra Sedgwick. “Possession” is expected in August.
Possession tells the story of the Brenek family: father Clyde, mother Stephanie, and daughter Em. When Em purchases an ancient box at a nearby yard sale, she becomes obsessed with her new artifact, and with good reason -- lurking inside is a dibbuk, a dislocated spirit that inhabits and ultimately devours its human host.
