New Man Of Steel Is Hawt!

Henry-Cavill-in-Superman-Man-of-Steel-3

Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures has released the first official photo of our new Superman, Henry Cavill.

“Man Of Steel” is set to be a darker more grittier film than its predecessors. This man of steel looks anything but wholesome. He looks more like a do ‘em dirty porn version of the superhero and that is good because it is about time the franchise got dirty and lubed a up some.

“Twixt” Trailer Released

Elle-Fanning-Val-Kilmer-Twixt-image-2

“Twixt” trailer released that reveals a lot about the film that I had already suspected. It is shit! I boring pretentious time consuming flat ass mess. I hate saying that because I love Coppola’s work. This somehow seems as big a scam as M Night’s “The Village”! Anyway here is the trailer to judge for yourselves and I hope the finished film proves me wrong.

The film follows “a hack horror novelist (Val Kilmer) as ghostly visions in a bizarre small town lead him to explore the murder of a young girl.

The film stars Elle Fanning, Val Kilmer, Joanne Whalley, Bruce Dern, Ben Chaplin, Don Novello, David Paymer, and Alden Erenreich.

Currently the film has no distribution in place and no release date announced.

August 3, 2011

Ridiculous Pictures, LLC today announced it has wrapped principal photography on Killer Holiday, the first feature film of their new thriller motion picture franchise. Proving that vacations can truly be frightening, Killer Holiday literally hit the road, filming on location along the historic Route 66.
The film was directed by Marty Thomas, who shares story and producing credits with screenwriter, Jon Zuber, and executive producers Tonya Mantooth and Michael Copon.
In the iconic tradition of Jason Vorhees, Michael Myers and Freddie Krueger, Michael Copon brings to life a chilling new villain, spinning a web of terror as Melvin "Spider" Holiday.
Spider stalks his prey, eight high school friends on a Spring Break road trip, luring them to a 1960s abandoned amusement park, complete with broken down vintage carnival rides, shocking surprises and the evil smell of death.
Killer Holiday also stars Rachel Lara in her first big-screen role, Hollywood scion Alex Mandel, Rachel Wixom and introduces audiences to Julia Beth Stern, David Namminga, Matt Calloway, Noah Zeev Gibbings and Gabriel Olivera as the targeted travelers.

Killer Holiday is now in post-production and expecting to premiere in 2012.

But a year later, in December of 1973, two American astronauts were sent on a secret mission to the moon funded by the US Department of Defense. What you are about to see is the actual footage which the astronauts captured on that mission. While NASA denies its authenticity, others say it’s the real reason we’ve never gone back to the moon.

“Zombie Apocalypse” Movie and Graphic Novel Coming Soon!

ZA_Carlos-8.5-X-11-flyer_front-COMIC-CON_july2011

Zombie Apocalypse 2012! The film is brain child of Carlos Gallardo and Kevin Eastman which dead fetus crawling from the womb of zombie horror will slither and squirm its way into audiences through both big screen and graphic novel dual media damnation to invade and infest our minds and devour our eyes like a chubby kid attacking a pumpkin filled with Halloween candy. Doesn’t that sound disgustingly yummy. YES- it does! Production is expected to begin later this year and the end result should bleed its way into the horror culture sometimes in 2012- if we are all still here that is. I mean there is 2 apocalypses already scheduled for November 2011 all the way till December 2012.

“Zombie Apocalypse is a unique combination of the action, zombie horror and war genres with the added element of mixed martial arts and will be produced by UK based Intense Productions. The first ever Zombie film to feature mixed martial arts, based on an original screenplay written by Chee Keong Cheung, and lined up as the first in a new trilogy, Zombie Apocalypse will be a multi platform project, which will include graphic novel and merchandise tie ins. Heavy Metal Publishing headed by Kevin Eastman will be the first to exploit the rights with the graphic novel featuring world class Heavy Metal writers and artists to coincide with the film’s intended 2012 release. The production will also team up with Heavy Metal as a promotional and merchandising partner on the picture. A computer game is also envisaged.

In Zombie Apocalypse, when zombies start to take control of the world they turn into malevolent versions of their former selves with any previous physical combat skills enhanced to almost superhuman level, making eradication near impossible. Into this seething hell a squad of eight Special Forces soldiers are assigned a suicide mission to rescue a scientist from a city ruled by the undead.” (The Blood Sprayer)

‘Demon In The Mist’ Excerpt

4464823845_9c53b288f0_m

From my ongoing attempt to complete a first novel or at the very least short story….

“Margie Stamper almost made it to her porch. The motherless widow of forty-five didn’t stand a chance against the fierce and swift force that came at her just feet from her own front porch steps. She tried to scream out. Nothing happened. Dry soundless air released from her throat as the sharp stabbing sensation struck her in the back, knocking her to the ground. Again she tried to cry out as she felt her self lifted into the air. Her lungs began to feel with heaviness. Blood filling my lungs, she imagined. She twisted her head around to face the thing that now had her in it’s grasp. She might have died from the panic and terror of what she thought she was now looking at.
The mist seemed to grow densely around her body and flicker between dark night like smoke and grey mist. Margie thought she could make out a figure but there was nothing there, just the mist. Suddenly she dropped to the ground, was flipped over onto her back and the sharp stabbing pain of talons that formed out nothing dug deeper into her chest. Once again she was lifted up into the air a head thrown back saw nothing but the mist and a fast approaching darkness that seemed to speed toward her. The hills, it’s taking me into the hills…oh god this is it I am gonna die! Dear God what is this …how can this be…She screamed these words out inside her mind. If only they would have come out in the air from her mouth then maybe she would stand a chance.
She felt her body forcibly pushed down against the dead leaves and branches. She was in the hills now, still covered by this dark grey creature that swirled like smoke and she felt the life slowly drain from her body. Just before the darkness set in for good Margie Stamper saw the thick black almond eyes form from somewhere deep within the mist and stare down at her. The cold fear set in and suddenly she saw the steel like shimmer of teeth, like daggers, they came from the mist just as the eyes had and moved down toward her. Margie felt the harsh pain as those teeth sank into her flesh and began to drink from her.
Lifeless against the fall debris lay the corpse of Margie Stamper, only feet from the very porch that she had tried so desperately to get moments earlier. The dark and unnatural thing that had torn at her flesh and drank from her body now moved on to some new unsuspecting victim in the cold misty night just yards away and almost, just as Margie Stamper had been, close to the safety of the porch light beyond the demons grasp.”

The group decides to stop at a roadside convenience store owned by Chopper (Sid Haig), who tells them the tale of Lockjaw, a fabled god-like creature who is half-man, half-alligator.

The legend has it that an inbred local man by the name of Grimley (Daniel Bernhardt) lost his family to a monstrous white alligator, which then drove him to madness and some believe he was transformed into that very creature that now haunts the depths of the swamps. Their curiosity peaked, the group decides to play along with the local tourist trap and journey deep into the backwoods to find the old dilapidated cabin which is supposed to be the birthplace of the creature.

As they set-up camp for the night, their faith is put to the test when Lockjaw turns out to be more than just a myth and they realize the locals are hiding a horrifying secret that jeopardizes them all.

Directed by Fred M. Andrews and starring Mehcad Brooks, Serinda Swan, Amanda Fuller, Dillon Casey, Lauren Schneider, Aaron Hill, Daniel Bernhardt, and Sid Haig, CREATURE introduces a new monster legend into the horror film lexicon.
