A poster and trailer have been released for LGBT horror "Devil's Path". The Queer thriller is directed by Matthew Montgomery and hits DVD/VOD release on March 5th, with limited theatrical release coming late February/ early March.

In the early 90’s, two strangers meet in a wilderness park where gay men cruise for sex. What seems like an innocent and random meeting quickly descends into a horrific nightmare. With recent disappearances and attacks, the two men soon find themselves in the terrifying position of being the next victims in a deadly game of cat and mouse. As they flee further into the woods to escape the danger, they begin to understand that the greatest danger of all may be closer than either of them realizes. Will these two strangers be able to work together to defeat the darkness that has settled in on Devil’s Path? Or will their own secrets and lies lead them to be the next two missing persons in this perilous park?

"The Drama Club" Now Available On VOD

The first “must see” (Film Threat) independent movie of the year, The Drama Club arrived on VOD this June from Leomark Studios.

“Bringing to mind The Big Chill" (Indie Film Minute), The Drama Club features a solid ensemble cast in the story of a high school drama club that catch up twenty-years on.

It’s been twenty years since they met in their high school drama club, but the teenage romances, egos, and quarrels are lying just beneath the surface waiting to prove themselves once again. Touching on topics from male/female double standards, to politics, to LGBTQ and race relations, the group grows more this weekend than in the last two decades. In a twisted maze of ex-lovers, old grudges, and new spouses, the friends are thrown down a rabbit hole of alcohol-fueled bad decisions.

This June, “quality indie cinema” (The Independent Critic) can be found within the frames of writer-director Joe McClean’s The Drama Club, made available 6/13 on VOD.

New Poster Revealed For Dramatic Short “Losing Your Flames”

losing your flameIt isn’t often that step outside the horror and sci-fi world to post about a movie. “Losing Your Flames” is one of those times that I gleefully do. The film is a stark character study focusing on an issue that a lot of young people face daily. Bullying, personal identity, love, acceptance, all issues that at one point in our lives we have had reach exceptional highs and disturbing lows.

Crowd Funding Begins For “Losing Your Flames”

2It isn’t often that I post about dramas, romantic or otherwise, but “Losing Your Flames” deals with issues close to home for me. The film focuses on modern LGB&T issues that are taking place across the globe daily. “Losing Your Flames” is set to be directed by the guy that brought us the Holiday horror short film “Tinsel” , Mikel Ledesma. The crowd funding campaign for the film has kicked off over on Indiegogo.com. Also check out the promo poster released yesterday for the film.
