New promo shots have been released for indie film arteur Dustin Ferguson's scifi "RoboWoman". The film premiered at the Regency Valley Plaza 6 on April 11th, complete with live Q&A and grindhouse trailers. It stars Dawna Lee Heising (Samurai Cop 2) as the woman scorned and transformed, Sue Price (Nemesis 2-5), Mel Novak (Game of Death), Vida Ghaffari (The Mindy Project), and Brinke Stevens (Slumber Party Massacre).
On her last night working at a temp agency, Vivica Stevens (Dawna Lee Heising) begrudgingly agrees a date with her persistent coworker. She soon finds herself cornered in a park where she is brutally attacked, raped, and left for dead by her date and his deranged friends. After being found by her roommate clinging to her life, Vivica subsequently undergoes an illegal experimental “cybernetic” procedure, giving her a robotic arm and a visor to correct her vision. However, the surgery wreaks havoc on both her body and brain, and before long, she decides to exact her revenge with the help of her new abilities. After attacker after attacker bites the dust, the movie comes to its shocking and revealing conclusion.
