Synopsis: "Obediah Lazarus is the son of Judah Lazarus, the original Hannukiller. In 1983, Judah terrorized NY for seven nights and was preparing to sacrifice his eight year old son, Obediah, on the eighth night. Judah was convinced it was God’s will, like Abraham and Isaac, to sacrifice his only son to God. Luckily for Obediah, police tracked Judah down and stopped the sacrifice, but Judah was gunned down in the process. Warped by hatred with no guidance, Obediah Lazarus becomes a religious extremist, intolerant of non-Jews, "bad Jews", and those he perceives to be enemies of the Jewish faith. He is about to unleash eight nights of horror.
A group of Jewish teens are getting ready to party for the holidays, but are in for a Festival of Frights. With the help of a wise Rabbi, they deduce that the murder victims have violated Judaic law and that their only chance at survival is to embrace their faith."

Poster Debut for "Vanishing On 7th Street"
Synopsis: "From director Brad Anderson (Session 9, Transsiberian, The Machinist) comes VANISHING ON 7TH STREET, a terrifying, apocalyptic thriller that taps into one of humankind’s most primal anxieties: fear of the dark. An unexplained blackout plunges the city of Detroit into total darkness, and by the time the sun rises, only a few people remain—surrounded by heaps of empty clothing, abandoned cars and lengthening shadows. A small handful of strangers that have survived the night (Hayden Christensen, Thandie Newton, John Leguizamo and newcomer Jacob Latimore) each find their way to a rundown bar, whose gasoline-powered generator and stockpile of food and drink make it the last refuge in a deserted city. With daylight beginning to disappear completely and whispering shadows surrounding the survivors, they soon discover that the enemy is the darkness itself, and only the few remaining light sources can keep them safe. As time begins to run out for them, darkness closes in and they must face the ultimate terror."

Gordon Creighton presents an interesting "alternative" to the UFO Phenomenon.
A Brief Account of the True Nature of the UFO Entities
One of the more curious features of the followers of the various religions is that, being so dogmatically certain that in their own particular little faith they already possess the whole Truth about all things in Heaven and Earth, it almost never occurs to any of them to look elsewhere and find out what the followers of other religions may know or may have discovered.Islam knows, in fact, of the existence of three entirely separate and distinct species of intelligent beings in the Universe, and indeed can furnish suprisingly precise details regarding their natures and roles and activities.

A Few Films To Start Ur Season of Bleeding!
To get started on a very scary Christmas here are a few film treats to enjoy!
Wilford Butler returns home on Christmas Eve and his house had been turned into a mental institution for the criminally insane. But the day of his return, he is set on fire and dies. The towns people believe his death was an accident, and the institution-house is later closed down. Wilford leaves the house to his grandson Jeffrey. A few years later, Jeffrey finally decides to sell this grandfather's house, but the towns people including the Mayor have mixed feelings on keeping people away from the house, especially when a serial killer escapes from another institution and finds refuge there. The killer makes frightening phone calls and kills anyone coming near the house. But what does the killer have in common with what happened to Wilford Butler years before?
It's time for Christmas break, and the sorority sisters make plans for the holiday, but the strange anonymous phone calls are beginning to put them on edge. When Clare disappears, they contact the police, who don't express much concern. Meanwhile Jess is planning to get an abortion, but boyfriend Peter is very much against it. The police finally begin to get concerned when a 13-year-old girl is found dead in the park. They set up a wiretap to the sorority house, but will they be in time to prevent a sorority girl attrition problem?
Widely recognized as the best of the Christmas horror efforts, Christmas Evil is the story of a boy who loves Christmas. He is scarred as a boy when he learns that Santa is not real. Throughout the rest of his life, the toy-maker tries to make the Christmas spirit a reality. He becomes obsessed with the behavior of children and the quality of the toys he makes. When he is met with hypocrisy and cynicism, the resulting snap causes him to go on a yuletide killing spree to complete this dark comedic horror.
After his parents are murdered, a young tormented teenager goes on a murderous rampage dressed as Santa, due to his stay at an orphanage where he was abused by the Mother Superior.
Serial killer is genetically mutated in car wreck on the way to his execution. After which, he becomes a murdering snowman hell-bent on revenge for the sheriff who caught him.

British Guide To Celebrating Halloween Coming In 2011
Due out in March 2011 comes a new book about Halloween.
Halloween: A Quintessential British Guide to Treats and Frights by Mark Doody and Kristoffer Hughes.
“A roaring fire casts an orange glow mimicking the Jack-o-Lantern that graces the hearth; the wood crackles and mocks October winds that howl mercilessly at the window. The table is set for a Halloween tea; the finest china with its gold rim glistening in the fire’s glow commands centre stage on the small lace covered table; treats bedeck the cake stand with promise of sweet delights. A knocking on the door announces the arrival of another batch of Trick or Treaters. It is a typically British scene, a warm and cosy Halloween. A tea cup rings as it meets its saucer, the warm blood within the cup almost spilling over the golden rim to kiss the blood-stained lip mark on the teacup's edge. With a chuckle, the resident achingly rises to its feet and meanders to greet those eager to receive their treats.”
The feast at the end of October invokes an ancient magic that rises from the depth of our ancestry, a calling that connects us to over 2,000 years of history. It is quintessentially British yet fabulously international. Its history is peculiar for it embodies a quality unlike the majority of annual festivals and celebrations that mankind has adopted. The feast at the end of October is one of mischief, of guising, of ghouls and spirits and things that go bump in the night.
Something within the bizarre rituals and traditions of October feels familiar, like echoes from past times we sense a remembering, as if memories of times gone by rise up to invoke something within mankind. Accentuated by the vibrant colours of late autumn, cooling nights, and flickering lights, by myth and fairytale, the primary feast of October is firmly entrenched in the popular imagination.
Quintessentially British: The purpose of this book is threefold: Primarily its nature is one of reclamation, as the first part of this book will demonstrate the festival of Halloween is rooted in Celtic Britain. Therefore, our main drive for compiling this work is the desire to reclaim Halloween as a recognizable British festival. We strive to bring Halloween back home! America has inspired the resurgence of interest in the celebration of Halloween in all its commercial and frivolous glory. The authors take that inspiration and bring it home, planting the seeds of American enthusiasm next to a seed bed of ancient British culture and traditions, the result a quintessential blend of America’s Technicolor vigor for Halloween flavored by a good dash of Britishness! Fine tea should be consumed in fine china; the finest Halloween should be experienced with a smattering of American enthusiasm and a dash of British sophistication.
This new book combines the mystery and magic at the origin of Halloween with its development through the centuries to its current form. With offerings of decor and party ideas and recipes to suit a varied budget, the easy to follow instructions and advice will serve to provide readers with a foolproof, tried, and tested guidebook to celebrating their best Halloween to date.
How does this happen? Two grown men come together for the love of one thing, for the fun-fueled, ghost-driven spookiness of a single night in October! Traumatized by childhood nightmares of Swedes and bin bags, these two men form an unlikely partnership in pursuit of a single goal...to make Halloween as monumental an event as practiced by our cousins across the pond in the United States of America. The Americans do it so well, but so can we; after all it was ours to begin with.
So, we invite you on a journey with two guys who live for the 31st of October, who chuckle in delight as supermarkets fill their shelves with imported plastic tat. Men who squeal in glee at the horrified cries of guests terrorized by scenes of horror and pretense but who also acknowledge the somberness of the season in its reverential tradition of honoring the dead. Wait until dusk, put the kettle on, and settle on the sofa and take a ride with two somewhat unhinged guys who just know how to do Halloween so well!

'Ghost Trek' TV Series Shooting Dec.10th
Ghost Trek follows the paranormal team called "Paranormal Underworld Detective Society" (PUDS) as they investigate paranormal activities around the U.S. and abroad which takes place in between tanning beds, body-building and of course bong-hits. They risk their lives confronting the undead.
Press Release below:
"The GHOST TREK pilot begins shooting December 10, 2010 in Charlotte, NC and its environs at a number of locations across the region, including the BUTTER nightclub, the NASCAR Hall of Fame building, as well as other studio and residential locations.
GHOST TREK is lead by Dr. Zeke Wallace (Michael Melendez), an ex-chiropractor turned paranormal investigator living in New York with his girlfriend, Shawna Leibowitz (Gia Allemand) who is also the show’s producer. The other PUDS investigators are: Joey Mayhem and The Bomb, two UFC wanna-be’s from New Jersey (Glenn Gilbertti and Scott Colton), the fashion-conscious psychic Guy Swisher (Brett Gentile), the team’s tech specialists and devoted stoners Robbie (Mikey “B” Bortone) and Ray-Ray (Johnny “Fairplay” Dalton), the “living dead-roller girl” case manager “Scary” Carrie Carmichael (Christy Johnson), Weasel the kleptomaniac cameraman (Kevin Johnson), and newbie Jules Partridge (Julia Bullock).
In the pilot entitled, “The Kinsey Report”, the team travels to Aspen, Colorado to investigate a supposed “cursed” house where a young pageant girl, Tyler Rae Kinsey (Addy Miller), was murdered. Meanwhile, Shawna is fuming over Zeke’s out–of-control spending, especially now that she suspects he’s cheating on her. But she’s forced to sit still for Zeke’s lunar escapades as Harvey Goldman, the show’s executive producer (Lonn Friend), says, “He’s trending.”
Combining the camp of Kolchak: the Night Stalker, the dynamics of The X-Files, the comedy of Clerks, and idiocy of The Jersey Shore, there’s no question GHOST TREK will be a hit with the Family Guy and/or Ghost Hunters crowd. Described by Jason Tracey, writer and producer of A&E’s Burn Notice as “promising and well-written,” GHOST TREK combines indie-horror with indie-comedy creating a crossover market appeal by incorporating reality stars and actors, plus masterful special effects make-up from two-time Emmy Award winner, Dean Jones (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine)."
