Joe Hills 'Twittering from the Circus of the Dead' to become a film

The short story, written entirely as tweets from a teenage girl, first appeared in the anthology book The New Dead and follows an American family on a cross-country road trip that goes horribly wrong.

Joe is the son of Stephen King and new Hollywood Golden Boy for the new generation horror genre. Fresh blood equals (well) fresh blood. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mandalay has picked up the film rights to Hill’s short story Twittering from the Circus of the Dead. The company is moving fast to put the creative pieces together, tapping Chris Borrelli (The Vatican Tapes, Whisper) to write the adaptation and negotiating with Todd Lincoln (The Apparition) to direct.

'Falling Skies' Promo Poster

The aliens are coming! Don't know how many and don't know which ones are good and which ones are bad...but I do know that it is all about us! We are cuisine de jour ! Anyway enough of my babble ...a new show on TNT brings that reality a little closer to home with this sci-fi television series but a invasion is coming! Just read Godlike Production sometimes!

Something That Plagues My Paranoia and Nightmares....

Shadow people and shadow demons have always been in my mind as long as I can remember. I think of them everytime I see a small movement out the corner of my eye, here a whisper in the still air, or feel the chill go up my back. They have been the subject of much of my poetry and writing and a constant (well) shadow to my life...them and Malthos! Every time I see a fucking black bird , crow, raven I yell out Malthos!...

Here is what sparked this moment of dark confession of my special kinda psychotica..."Shadow People" Teaser Art!
SHADOW PEOPLE is a psychological-thriller that explores the rare medical phenomenon known as SUNDS(Sudden Unexplained Nocturnal Death Syndrome). Millions of people across the globe have had encounters with what they describe as dark, shadowy creatures that visit them at night. Sometimes horrifying, sometimes deadly, these nocturnal intruders have been described as early as man's first recorded writings. But what are they? And what do they want?

Small town radio personality CHARLIE CROWE (Dallas Roberts) is thrust into the mystery when a strange caller relates a terrifying experience during Crowe's late night call-in show. At the same time, CDC Public Health Agent, SOPHIE LANCOMBE (Alison Eastwood), is hot on the trail of the cause of the rare medical condition known as SUNDS. Her investigations entwine her with Charlie's own discoveries and take them both into a dark world and a decades old cover-up about the phenomenon we now call, The Shadow People. Once you open the door to the mystery...you'll never sleep soundly again.

Kirsten Dunst Best Actress At Cannes 2011 For "Melancholia"

From Variety: The jury, headed by Robert De Niro, clearly opted not to deny Melancholia a prize even though the festival had declared von Trier "persona non grata" after the director's ill-judged jokes about being a Nazi at the Melancholia press conference. While the ban prevented von Trier from attending the ceremony or entering the Palais des Festivals, the pic itself remained eligible for prizes. "What a week it's been," Dunst said upon accepting the prize. "Thank you to the Cannes Film Festival for still allowing our film to be in competition." She thanked von Trier "for giving me the opportunity to be so brave in this film, and so free."
Melancholia stars Dunst, John Hurt, Charlotte Gainsbourg (Antichrist), Kiefer Sutherland (Lost Boys, Mirrors), Charlotte Rampling (Angel Heart), Alexander Skarsgard ("True Blood"), Stellan Skarsgard (Exorcist: The Beginning), and Udo Kier (Suspiria).
