Festival Favorite "Parasites" Hits VOD In January

Chad Ferrin's harrowing festival favorite Parasites will be available to rent or own in the US and Canada starting January 24th on iTunes, Amazon Instant, Google Play, Vudu and Xbox from 108 Media.  Veteran genre director Ferrin (Someone's Knocking at the Door, Horse) presents one long night on Skid Row as a sadistic reimagining on the true story of John Colter and his flight from the Blackfoot Indians.

Since the world premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival, Parasites has made audiences and critics scream, earning rave reviews for being both terrifying and thought-provoking.  Dread Central hailed the film at Fantasia, praising the "white-knuckled tension and action that holds its ground."  Parasites has gone on to screen at a number of festivals, including HorrorHound, Shriekfest, STUFF MX, the New York City Horror Film Festival, Zinema Zombie Fest and more.

Genre vet Robert Miano (Donnie Brasco) headlines as Wilco, the leader of a band of bloodthirsty vagrants who rule the underpasses and alleyways of downtown LA.  When he and his men come across a trio of lost college boys (centered around newcomer Sean Samuels), all hell breaks loose.

The industrial barbarianism of downtown Los Angeles is equal parts player and punisher in this survive-at-all-costs tale of a group of friends who get lost in the seedy streets where they encounter a crazed gang of homeless derelicts that captures and maims them one-by-one.  One lucky man escapes on foot, naked and unarmed, with a pack of depraved transients in pursuit, staying only seconds ahead. Clinging to sanity and reduced to helpless prey, with only instinct to guide him, can he survive this coliseum of horror?

MORE ALPHA AND OMEGA THAN ONE BOOK COULD HOLD- ‘ORIGINS & ENDINGS VOLUME TWO’ DEBUTS

A cutting edge Publisher of Genre Fiction and New Pulp, Pro Se Productions is known for publishing works that take a particular concept and push it to its limits. The latest release from Pro Se is no different, a second volume of two focusing on two of the most popular stories in any character’s canon-the first and the last. ORIGINS AND ENDINGS VOLUME TWO is now available in print and digital formats.
“It’s not often,” says Tommy Hancock, Editor in Chief of Pro Se Productions, “that we have a collection that demands two volumes that come out nearly at the same time. The response to ORIGINS & ENDINGS, however, demanded just that. This two book collection illustrates an interesting dynamic, showing of course the differences, but also amazingly the similarities in both types of tales. Origins and endings share a lot of thematic ties and the authors in this two volume collection show that extremely well.”
Every Story Has A Start and Finish. And, for every story, those are two different tales. One of Origin, of birth and promise. Of beginning something and the beauty of the path it will follow. And One of Ending, of finality and completion. Of laying to rest all that had been before one last time.
ORIGINS & ENDINGS VOLUME TWO set of such stories as written by some of today’s best Genre Fiction authors, including C. S. Humble, Christopher Robin Negelein, Tony Garcia and Michael Krog. Some tales are the opening of a great salvo, of action and adventure yet to come and others are the last note, the ringing knell of legends and secrets passing away.
Watch heroes and villains discover themselves while adventurers and explorers give their all to be who they are. ORIGINS & ENDINGS VOLUME TWO. From Pro Se Productions.
With a thrilling cover by Larry Nadolsky and logo design and print formatting by Antonino Lo Iacono and Marzia Marina, ORIGINS & ENDINGS VOLUME TWO is available now at Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/dp/1541117824/ref=sr_1_4… and Pro Se’s own store at www.prose-press.com for 10.00.
The second volume of first and last stories is also available as an Ebook, designed and formatted by Lo Iacono and Marina for only $2.99 for the Kindle at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01NBNRAKJ/ref=sr_1_3… and for most digital formats via Smashwords at https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/691655.

"I Am Not A Serial Killer" Lands February 20th In UK On Blu-ray And DVD

Press Release:
A dazzlingly original, darkly funny and disturbing gem with a genre-bending twist, about a small town teenager in the US, obsessed with serial killers, who unwittingly discovers the identity of the killer who has been slaughtering residents for body parts.
Featuring a star-making lead performance from 17-year-old Max Records, and an extraordinary turn from Back To The Future’s legendary Christopher Lloyd, I AM NOT A SERIAL KILLER is the most sheerly entertaining and audaciously offbeat offering since Donnie Darko hit cinema screens.
A big hit when it premiered at the South By Southwest Film Festival in March, nominated for 3 British Independent Film Awards, and was a must-see film at the prestigious BFI London Film Festival, it proves that left field indie cinema is alive and kicking, even if the Clayton County killer’s victims aren’t. “Hit the switch John…”
Synopsis: John Wayne Cleaver is dangerous and he knows it. He is 16 and helps his Mum and Aunt at the family Mortuary. John is obsessed with serial killers but really doesn’t want to become one. So for his own sake and the safety of those around him he lives by rigid rules to keep himself “good” and “normal”.
When somebody starts murdering people in John’s small Mid-West town, he has to investigate and risk letting his own dark side out in order to stop the killer. But without his rules to keep him in check he might be more dangerous than the monster he is stalking. As the icy winter tightens its grip on the community a deadly supernatural game of cat and mouse ensues…
