First Images Released For Horror Sequel "The Collected"

LD Entertainment has released the first Images for "The Collected". The film is the second sequel in "The Collector" franchise, following "The Collection". It is directed by Marcus Dunstan and brings back leads Josh Stewart and Emma Fitzpatrick. "The Collected" costars Tom Atkins, Randy Havens (Godzilla: King of the Monsters), Dot-Marie Jones (3 From Hell) and Navi Rawat (Feast). No word on full plot details but if it keeps with the brutal and tense energy as the previous entries then I am here for it.

MVD AND RAVEN BANNER TO RELEASE JULIAN RICHARDS "REBORN" IN NORTH AMERICA

Following the successful UK release of Julian Richards award winning horror REBORN, MVD have announced that the US DVD and Blu-ray release will be July 14th.

Screening at 54 festivals and winning 15 awards REBORN stars Barbara Crampton (Re-Animator), Michael Pare (Streets Of Fire), Chaz Bono (Three From Hell), Rae Dawn Chong (Commando), Monte Markham (We Are Still Here) and Peter Bogdanovich (The Last Picture Show) in a contemporary Frankenstein story about a stillborn girl brought to life by an electrical storm and abducted from hospital by a morgue attendant. On her sixteenth birthday, empowered with the gift to manipulate electricity, she escapes her captor and sets out to find her birth mother leaving a trail of destruction behind her.

Daniel Leone's sequel is still wrapping up. The film stars David Howard Thornton as Art the Clown. Lauren LaVera has been cast as the film’s lead. It costars are Tamara Glynn (Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers), Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp) and Jason Lively (Night of the Creeps).

After being resurrected by a sinister entity, Art the Clown returns to Miles County where he must hunt down and destroy a teenage girl and her younger brother on Halloween night. As the body count rises, the siblings fight to stay alive while uncovering the true nature of Art’s evil intent.

4Digital Media Will Release "The Jonestown Haunting" On DVD This April

4Digital Media will release "The Jonestown Haunting" on DVD April 21st. The film is directed by Andrew Jones and stars Derek Nelson, Andromeda Godfrey, William Meredith, Harriet Rees, Doug Cooper. 

The film takes place inside The People's Temple, which housed the cult of Jim Jones. In the film's story, one person has survived a mass suicide, in Africa. Now, Sarah is determined to return to this tragic site, only to find it haunted by a supernatural element.

"Castle Freak" Remake Sets World Premiere At Chattanooga Film Festival In April

The "Castle Freak" remake has set it's world premiere for upcoming Chattanooga Film Festival on April 16th. Tate Steinsiek‘s film is produced by the original film’s star Barbara Crampton. It stars Clair Catherine, Jake Horowitz, Chris Galust, Kika Magalhaes, Emily Sweet, Elisha Pratt, and Omar Brunson.

A young woman named Rebecca who inherits a castle in Albania from her long lost mother shortly after going blind. Rebecca recruits her boyfriend John and their friends for a journey abroad to handle this unexpected inheritance, but upon their arrival, Rebecca discovers even more family secrets lurking in the shadows – some of which have startling and potentially cosmic implications. Confronted by disturbing occurrences within the castle and with her friends’ lives in imminent peril, Rebecca is forced to reckon with her family’s past to save herself from the eponymous Castle Freak.

Genre Veteran Chad Ferrin Goes Under the Sea with THE DEEP ONES

Independent horror filmmaker Chad Ferrin (Parasites, The Ghouls, Someone's Knocking at the Door) has debuted the first photos from his eighth film The Deep Ones, a Lovecraftian take on Rosemary's Baby.  A married couple rents a beachside dream home, only to be surrounded by peculiar neighbors and bizarre occurrences. They soon discover they are in the crosshairs of a mysterious cult and their ancient sea god.

The cast of The Deep Ones includes Johann Urb ("Arrow"), Gina La Piana, Robert Miano, Silvia Spross, Jackie Debatin, Nicolas Coster, Rachel Pringle, Jerry Irons, Robert Rhine, Jon Mack, Bulet Rush, Timothy Muskatell, Kelli Maroney (Chopping Mall, Night of the Comet) and Kurt Carley (the Underworld franchise, Roland Emmerich's Godzilla).

Behind the scenes, Ferrin is joined by producers Gina La Piana, Robert Miano and Jeff Olan, composer Richard Band (Re-Animator, From Beyond), director of photography Jeff Billings, makeup effects artist Jim Ojala (Deadgirl, Strange Nature) with key art by Nenad Gucunja.  The Deep Ones is executive produced by Michael Schefano, Richard Pate, Gerry Karr and Zebadiah DeVane.

After suffering an untimely loss, Alex (La Piana) and her husband Petri (Urb) visit California for a much-needed break from reality. At an unassuming rental, they meet the mysterious Russell Marsh (Miano). Marsh introduces them to the oddly enthusiastic locals, fixes them a lavish meal and invites them out on his luxury boat.  Little do they know that beneath Mr. Marsh's thin veneer of avuncular charm lurks a dark devotion to an archaic evil. Brazilian Horror "Skull: The Mask" To Show At European Film Market

Brazilian supernatural slasher "Skull: The Mask" is set to show at this year's European Film Market. The film is directed by Armando Fonseca (Uptake Fear) and Kapel Furman and stars Natallia Rodrigues (The Awakener), Wilton Andrade and Rurik Jr. Raven Banner Entertainment will represent this title for potential European and North American distribution. 

The film focuses on a supernatural-infused serial killer. Based on ancient Colombian mythology, an worn artifact births a violent executioner.

First Images Released For Upcoming Horror Comedy "Psycho Goreman"

The first images have been released for upcoming horror comedy "Psycho Goreman". The film is directed by Steven Kostanski and stars Nita-Josee Hanna, Owen Myre, Matthew Ninaber, and Adam Brooks. 

Set in small-town suburbia, the movie follows two kids, Mimi and Luke as they discover the tomb of a sleeping alien warlord whose only goal is to destroy the entire universe. Horror comedy "Come To Daddy" hits Blu-Ray in the UK from Signature Entertainment on March 2nd. The film is directed by Ant Timpson and stars Elijah Wood, Michael Smiley (Kill List) and Garfield Wilson (The Man in the High Castle).

After thirty years no contact, Norval (Wood) visits his estranged father (Stephen McHattie, Watchmen) at his remote cabin by the sea. He quickly discovers that not only is his dad a disapproving alcoholic, he also has a shady past that is rushing to catch up with him.

New Poster Released For Upcoming Horror "Ash And Bone"

Check out the new poster released for upcoming horror "Ash And Bone" (above). The film is directed by Harley Wallen and scripted by Bret Miller. It stars Jamie Bernadette (I Spit on Your Grave: Deja Vu) and Mel Novak (Bruce Lee’s Game of Death), Calhoun Koenig (Law & Order SVU) and Shane Hagedorn (Wild Faith).

The film follows a rebellious teen named Cassie Vanderbilt (Angelina Danielle Cama), whose wild streak escalates as her caring father Lucas (Harley Wallen) decides to take her and his new wife Sarah (Kaiti Wallen) out of the city for some bonding and quality time together. CONDWG Films And RAD Entertainment Team For First Official Feature, "Parallels"

CONDWG Films out of Tennessee and RAD Entertainment out of Indiana have partnered to bring something special to horror fans. The two will soon begin production on their first official feature film, "Parallels". It’s the beginning of the partnership between the two studios. 

RAD Entertainment is made up of Tony Walters and Rebekah Erb while CONDWG Films is made up of Daniel Goad and Constance Medrano. Between the four of them they have worked on over 10 film projects.

Parallels follows two Monster-Hunters, Patrick and Albert, trying to save a woman who is possessed with a wicked entity. These money-for-hire Monster-Hunters are part of a larger collection of people tasked with keeping the world safe from things that go “bump in the night.” This next job is personal as the woman possessed his Patrick’s niece, Amelia, and they have to save her before it’s too late for everyone.
