Thriller and Suspense Literature Takes Place August 23-26
At the Hutton Hotel in Downtown Nashville, Tenn.
Already a mainstay in host city, Killer Nashville (www.killernashville.com), the premier conference for mystery, thriller and crime fiction authors and fans, keeps finding unique ways to continue its outreach to the surrounding community.
The seventh annual event, which takes place August 23-26, 2012 at the Hutton Hotel in Downtown Nashville, Tenn. has expanded its free, open-to-the-public book signings to include over 85 authors—including numerous award winning, critically acclaimed New York Times bestselling writers and many others making their debut in these popular genres.
Among the authors that Killer Nashville attendees and fans alike can meet and get autographs from are this year's three Guests of HonorCJ Box, Peter Strauband Heywood Gould—and previous Guest of Honor Jeffery Deaver.

"Where else can you see such a wide array of world renowned and up and coming authors under one roof, and all for free?” says Killer Nashville founder Clay Stafford, an international bestselling author himself, who has also worked in the film industry for years as a writer, director, producer and actor. "We're telling everyone to come meet the authors, bring your books from home, visit, mingle, maybe buy some more books, even decide to join us for the full Killer Nashville weekend experience. Everyone is welcome.”
Held the fourth full weekend of every August, the event opened with 70 guests from the immediate region and has grown to attract over 500 people, including budding writers, authors, editors, publishers and fans from throughout the U.S., Canada, theUK and Italy.
Killer Nashville's objectives are to assist writers of all genres and formats; develop a better understanding of the craft of the mystery, thriller, suspense and true crime genres; to discuss such topics as investigative techniques, verifying crime information and submitting one's manuscript for publication; and portray law enforcement and forensic science in a fair and accurate manner.
