The sci-fi/horror film “Ombis: Alien Invasion” has been given a name change and issued a release date courtesy of DefTone Pictures Studios Inc. and Origin Releasing. The film directed by Adam R Steigert and starring Richard Satterwhite, Jason John Beebe, Sara Manzella along with co-stars Kathy Murphy, Alexander Sloan McBryde, Brenda Rickert, Aryn Fitzgerald is now titled “Not Human”, as evident by the new poster released.
“Not Human” deals with an alien invasion that plagues small town Metzburgh. Peaceful, rustic Metzburgh is a quiet village which was a former industrial town whose glory days are long past after the collapse of Metzburgh Grain. Teenager Mark Lowe (Jason John Beebe) and his ex-girlfriend Lucy Greenheart (Sarah Manzella) are stuck in a lovers quarrel when a meteorite crash lands in the passive community. Cut to a town overrun by the virus and the collateral damage adding up, a special containment team shows up to try and keep order and contain the plague. “Not Human” will be released VOD in September with retail release taking place in October 2014.
