“Dead Walkers” is an Indie zombie flick that hits on a subgenre that has taken root in the horror world. The rise of the Nazi as bogeyman. The film is a spy thriller of sorts that plays with all the lore surrounding the obsession the 3rd Reich held for the occult. It is directed by Philip Gardiner who wrote the script as well and stars Philip Berzamanis, Jane Haslehurst, Bob Lee, Sandy Slade, Nathan Head, Melissa Hollett, Eirian Cohen, Dayna Shuffle, Rachel Malone, Dean Sills, Sarah Haugh, Dawn Hills, Rudy Barrow and Jack Burrows. The teaser has released and if it is any indication then “Dead Walkers” looks to be a pretty good gory and intense film that balances the fantastic with the surreal in a smart and witty way.
