“Final Girl” could be the movie to embody the ‘final girl’ definition. The term describes the one girl who manages to fight and think just a little bit harder and quicker than even the protagonist in a horror film. (notice the similarity between the promo poster and that famous one from “I Spit On Your Grave”). It isn’t coincidence. This film will take the whole revenge horror concept to newer modern territory. The storyline will bring those horrors to life that are found in ‘torture-porn/exploitation’ horror movies. I hate to use the word torture-porn but that is what label they tend to get so I relate the title with these revenge gore movies. Anyway back to the story of “Final Girl”. News has come down that Abigail Breslin, Alexander Ludwig, Wes Bentley, Logan Huffman, Michael Trevino, Connor Paolo and Francesca Eastwood have signed on for this project."Loner Veronica is new to school, shy and vulnerable the perfect target for a group of teenage boys who lure girls into the woods to hunt and kill them for sport. It’s only after they get her alone that she turns the tables on them, escaping and revealing she’s armed and knows how to defend herself. Little do they know, Veronica is an assassin-in-training, and she’s chosen killing these boys as her final test. When the dust clears, Veronica will find out if she can be the final girl these boys ever have a chance to hurt."
