CineTel Film’s “Suicide Forest” has just gone into pre-production. Here is the synopsis for the horror flick. Over the Halloween weekend, a group of American exchange students sets out to shoot a documentary about Aokigahara - Japan's infamous Suicide Forest. Led by a young woman whose own mother killed herself there, they ignore all warnings and explore deep into the tangled wilderness. But when a member of the crew steals from one of the bodies, the vengeful spirits of the dead - the Yurei - are unleashed and they are hell-bent on stopping anyone from leaving the forest alive...
Based on the Japanese legends and very real horrors around the Asian Island nations forest filled with infamous deaths and lingering spirits. This is a very interesting story about one of the worlds most haunted locations. Please don’t be a found footage film!
