Netflix is set to go monster hunting with series adaptation of Steve Nile's October Faction. The series based on the graphic novel will feature episodes directed by Damian Kindler, Megan Follows, and Vikings‘ David Frazee, and more. It will be released in 2019 and stars Tamara Taylor stars alongside Maxim Roy, J.C. Mackenzie, Aurora Burghart, Gabriel Darku, Wendy Crewson, Megan Follows, Stephen McHattie, Praneet Akilla, Nicola Correia-Damude, and Clavin Desautels.
'October Faction' follows globetrotting monster hunters Fred (MacKenzie) and Deloris Allen (Taylor) who, after the death of Fred’s father, return to their hometown in upstate New York with their teenage children Geoff (Darku) and Viv (Burghart). As the family adjusts, Fred and Deloris must hide their identities as members of a secret organization, and our heroes quickly discover that their new small-town setting isn’t as idyllic as it seems.
