Breaking Glass Pictures has acquired Worldwide rights to the supernatural mystery/thriller BEYOND THE NIGHT, the directorial debut from writer/director Jason Noto (“Addiction: A 60’s Love Story”). Breaking Glass acquired rights to the film in a deal negotiated between Breaking Glass CEO Rich Wolff, and producer Robin Garvick on behalf of NewAley Pictures, Summerhawk Films, and Reckless Productions.The film will open theatrically in Los Angeles in early January, followed by a DVD & VOD release in the first quarter of 2019.
Beyond the Night is a mysterious thriller, revealing that some secrets don’t die. When soldier Ray Marrow’s son reveals damning information about a local gangster’s missing daughter, a war of attrition wreaks havoc on their forgotten coal-mining town.
The film stars “Hunter Killer” and From Dusk Til Dawn: The Series alum Zane Holtz, Emmy award-winner Tammy Blanchard (“Life with Judy Garland: Me and My Shadow”, Untitled Mr. Rogers project alongside Tom Hanks), Chance Kelly (“American Sniper”, “Unbreakable”), and Azhy Robertson (“Juliet, Naked”, “Larry” alongside Gillian Jacobs, Untitled Noah Baumbach Project).The film co-stars Neal Huff (“Spotlight”,“The Grand Budapest Hotel”), Skipp Sudduth (Orange is the New Black, Good Wife),and Enid Graham (The Sinner).
