Trailer Released For “The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones”

Check out the trailer for supernatural fantasy flick “The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones” directed by  Harald Zwart. The film stars  Lily Collins, Jamie Campbell Bower, Robert Sheehan, Kevin Zegers, Lena Headey, Kevin Durand, Aidan Turner, Jemima West, Godfrey Gao, CCH Pounder, Jared Harris, and Jonathan Rhys Meyers. It tales a modern gothic saga of two world coexisting on our plane where there is a constant battle between good and evil. I have to say that even though I have walked away from purchasing the books several times (mostly because they are held in the teen fiction section and I am apprehensive about buying the really cool genre stuff from that section) I am super excited to see this film. It is due out in theatres August 23rd.

 Set in contemporary New York City, a seemingly ordinary teenager, Clary Fray (Lily Collins), discovers she is the descendant of a line of Shadowhunters, a secret cadre of young half-angel warriors locked in an ancient battle to protect our world from demons. After the disappearance of her mother (Lena Headey), Clary must join forces with a group of Shadowhunters, who introduce her to a dangerous alternate New York called Downworld, filled with demons, warlocks, vampires, werewolves and other deadly creatures.
