Germans are gonna see us thru "Hell"

Watching the clip that just released for German post-apocalyptic movie "Hell" has me anticipating the slow fiery demise of the planet, well for at least two hours anyway. The vibe of the film based on this clip alone gives me the impression that it will be a mixture of "The Road" and "28 Days Later". Not quiet as slow and depressing as "The Road" but probably not so rage infected full throttle as "28 Days Later". For me the horror will be fearing for the family while gripping the edge of my seat wondering what kinda psychotic monsters man can become just for survival's sake. To me that is the true terror of "Hell". I hope I will not be disappointed.
It was once the source of life, light and warmth. But now the sun has turned the entire world into a baked and barren wasteland. Forests are scorched. Animal carcasses line the roads. Even the nights are dazzlingly bright.
Maria, her little sister Leonie and Phillip are heading for the mountains in a car with tinted glass. Rumor has it water can still be found there. It is a hazardous trip to nowhere. Along the way, they run into Tom. He turns out to be a first-rate mechanic and becomes indispensible. But can they trust him? The tension grows. As if things weren’t bad enough, they are lured into an ambush and their real battle for survival begins…

“Hell” is scheduled to open in September, 2011.
