New Zealand horror comedy "My Lover, My Lazy Boy" is set to begin a limited festival run this year. The film is directed by Bernie Rao and stars Jed Brophy, Grant Kereama, Harley Neville, Piimio Mei, Natalie Morris, Jim Baltaxe, Sarah Munn and Jamie McCaskil. The films distribution is handled by High Octane Pictures in the U.S. and Devilwroks in Europe.
A Dybbuk-possessed reclining chair becomes infatuated with its new owner. The recliner will do whatever it takes, including murder, to have her. Not even a Rabbi, nor Voodoo sorceress can help.
