“The Quiet Ones” is a film that I have been excited about ever since the revitalized studio announced the production plans back in 2010 with the success of “The Woman In Black”. Now we edge one step closer to seeing this staunch supernatural thriller’s inevitable release with the trailer that has been released. Hinting at classic paranormal attempts as the classic 20th Century horror film “The Legend Of Hell House” the trailer has really amped my excitement. Check it out below. “The Quiet Ones” is directed by John Pogue who directed “Quarantine 2: The Terminal” and also wrote “Ghost Ship” as well as “Quarantine 2”. “The Quiet Ones” stars Jared Harris, Sam Claflin, Olivia Cooke, Erin Richards, Rory Fleck-Byrne and Laurie Calvert. The film is due out in the spring and follows a university student and some classmates who are recruited to carry out a private experiment — to create a poltergeist. Their subject: an alluring, but dangerously disturbed young woman. Their quest: to explore the dark energy that her damaged psyche might manifest. As the experiment unravels along with their sanity, the rogue PHD students are soon confronted with a terrifying reality: they have triggered an unspeakable force with a power beyond all explanation.
