“The Planet Of The Apes” re-boot is in it’s third installment. I personally could not be happier because as a kid I lived for these films. This was the one franchise even above “Star Wars” that I often found myself fantasizing about or referencing when new visions of science sparked apocalyptic notions. I am warped I know that! Check out the artist impression from one of the designs for the set of “Dawn” below. This story is currently being brought to life in New Orleans. 
The film takes in the not so distant future of Humanity’s path set forth in “Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes”. There have been several new images posted lately showing the state of the Human world after the genetic apes rose up against man. Non are kind to our plight. However a small band of people have survived the virus that gave birth to this new reality. The are stationed in the ruins known as the “Human Nation”. A volatile peace is threatened by war and Ceasar’s people live in a state of threat from the Humans (or vice versus-depending on your point of view of this mad new world-I for one am cheering for the Apes.) My fantasy for this story is that it will hint to that epic end shot from the Wahlberg film “Planet Of The Apes”. That moment has set a wondrous parade of theories and questions whirling in my mind over the decades since it’s release. Maybe this film will bring the story full circle- but only a little-allowing for more films to follow “Dawn”.
