“Scalene” Director Going Darker For Next Project

Director Zack Parker, recently told Fangoria Magazine that his next project “Proxy” will be even darker than “Scalene”. His current project has received a lot of accolades of late. So far the cast of his next project is an amalgamation of talent from such films as “Halloween” and “V/H/S”. He told Fangoria  that “Proxy” will be   “a European-style suspense-thriller that promises to challenge the traditional cinematic form.”



The synopsis for “Proxy” “A very pregnant Esther Woodhouse [to be played by Alexia Rasmussen] is walking home after her latest OB appointment, when she is brutally attacked and disfigured by a hooded assailant. When Esther seeks consolation in a support group, she finds friendship and empathy in Melanie [Alexa Havins], another mother scarred with tragedy. Esther soon begins to believe that the horrific event might be a bittersweet act of fate. However, friendship and empathy can be very dangerous things when accepted by the wrong people.” Other members of the cast include; Kristina Klebe  from Rob Zombie’s HALLOWEEN and CHILLERAMA, and filmmaker Joe Swanberg.
