“Night Of The Living Dead: Resurrection” From The Mind Of A Brit!

In a genre that has exploded with the undead, one thing Brits can do as make a mean ass zombie. I have seen plenty of their films with the loud screeching, super fast and scarily vicious muntant style corpses that run with a rabid fever in search of living flesh to feast upon. I have actually jumped like a scared school girl on several occasions.  Now as far as the “Night of the Living Dead” saga is concerned this take on zombies has no place “if you keep with Romero’s vision” but be that as it may the Brits never are one to keep to regulations on anything so I will be pleased to see how they handle this new update to the “Living Dead” theology.

This UK flick is produced by Andrew Jones and directed by James Plumb who say this is more of a “companion piece”. It is due out in 2012.

In 2012, the deceased have risen from their graves with only one instinct: to feed on the living. As the cities are over run and civilization crumbles, a family take refuge from the undead army in an isolated farmhouse in West Wales.”
